It’s another guest interview episode of Real Health Radio and this week I’m speaking with Chris Masterjohn. Chris earned my PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut in the summer of 2012.
He then served as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Illinois. And then served as Assistant Professor of Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College.
In the fall of 2016, Chris made the decision to leave academia and pursue and as of January this year he’s running his own business and doing his own thing. This includes conducting independent research, consulting, working on information products, collaborating on information and technology products, and producing tons of free content to help people gain better health.
Chris has deep and personal experiences with the power of food, movement, and mindfulness to support health and well being. He wants to take what he’s learned and pay it forward. And he’s doing this by taking complex science and translating it into practical principles that each of us can use to better support our health.
