Real Housewives of NJ's Dolores Catania Gets Candid About Her Unique Co-Parenting Relationship, Surviving Infidelity, and Putting Her Children First.
Maybe you know her as the beautiful woman who first stepped onto the NJ housewife scene back in 2016. Or maybe you're intrigued by her amazing ability to stay out of the drama that doesn't involve her. Or maybe you're drawn in by her fierce loyalty and badass sense of humor.
For us divorced mamas though, it's always been her fierce commitment to co-parenting and putting her kids first that has kept her on our short list of favorite Bravo housewives. Her kids being the reason, she says, for choosing to let her ex-husband live with her despite his infidelity that ruined their marriage.
"Someone's always gotta be the bigger person in divorce," Dolores shared. And that might be the best co-parenting advice we've received yet.
Dolores Catania is a mother, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and the living embodiment of a modern-day housewife. She has worked tirelessly to ensure a cohesive family unit with her two children and ex-husband turned business partner, Frank. With her daughter, Gabrielle, studying in veterinary school and her son, Frankie, away at college aspiring to be an investment banker, “Dolo” keeps herself more than busy with work, her many rescue pets and by fueling her passion for helping the community. Staying true to her humble beginnings, she earned the key to her hometown of Paterson, NJ for her deep commitment to improving the city. Her involvement with organizations such as St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, Maimonides Breast Center, Halfway Home Animal Rescue Team, Angels for Animals Network, multiple local women’s and children’s shelters helps her live out her motto of “everyone has something to give.”
