In looking back on my life and recognizing the shadows, I see that I felt the need to compare and compete as I looked for my value, especially in my work environments. It was easier to be frustrated with other people and blame them for my being unhappy than it was for me to take an honest look at myself and feel my own self-worth.  I came across a powerful spiritual tool that helped me to change my way of seeing things and let go of competing and comparing with others and allowed me to connect on a soul level instead, and helped to release my resentments.
