Renee overcame infertility, the destruction of her home in Hurricane Katrina, the environmental disaster of the BP oil spill just outside her home, and an incurable cancer multiple myeloma-which she has been in remission from for 7 years. Now, nearly 70 years old, she is overcoming Obesity by following a SOFAS free plant exclusive program, as outlined in Chef AJ’s Reboot program.

She has been a teacher, expressive arts therapist, a writer of grants and programs for arts administration and education, and is now retired from 15 year career in programming and outreach for a Genealogy and Local History Special Collections library. She has been a Peace and Social Justice activist all her adult life and her quest to achieve optimal health is leading her to actively promote a healthy plant exclusive lifestyle in opposition to the agricultural industrial complex that destroys animals, the environment, and our Health.
