Meet health coach, entrepreneur and cancer survivor, Carly Shankman.

When she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at 33, she was immediately scheduled for a traditional treatment with surgery and chemotherapy. But she wanted to try to heal in another way, without drugs. She went to an integrative cancer clinic in Florida, where she came in contact with a biological dentist. He found huge infections from a prior root canal and titanium implants from a college accident, and this was the cause of the cancer. Once this was removed she could continue her healing treatment. She then ended up at the Hope 4 Cancer clinic in Mexico.

"That was my healing home."

She eventually did have her thyroid removed. She is now totally cancer free and is coaching other women to live their healthiest lives. She is also pregnant with their third child.
