I was in an online chiropractic group the other day and someone referred to Google adwords as “essential”. It only took a matter of minutes before people started to disagree and explained what marketing magic works for them.
So what really is essential for a chiropractic practice? Do you have to spend money on external marketing? Do you have to have 3-5 staff people and be open 7 days per week? Let’s talk about that.
Chiropractic is relational by nature, but chiropractic marketing doesn’t always reflect that. One of the most relational forms of marketing out there today is online reviews and reputation management.
When done well, you can become known as the chiropractor who listens. When done poorly, you can become known as the chiropractor who doesn’t care. Let’s talk about that.
Over the last several years, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of chiropractors. I’d love to say that all of them have gone on to BIGGER and BETTER things, but that would be a lie. Even after working together, some of them have continued to struggle.
In this episode, I talk about the two most common reasons why my chiropractic clients have failed and why these issues are a problem for other chiropractors, too. ENJOY!
Chiropractors who own their own practice constantly have to do things that they were never trained to do. Chiropractic college doesn’t teach you how to run a business. As a result, there is a certain amount of stress that comes with trying to grow a successful practice.
In this episode, I talk about the uneasy feeling that comes with being in over your head and what to do about it. I also discuss two common misconceptions about how to decrease your business stress. ENJOY!
Yes, it’s good to get likes and shares on your social media account. But it’s wrong to assume that just because you get likes and shares that you will automatically get more new patients in your chiropractic practice. For local businesses, quality matters a lot more than quantity.
In this episode, I talk about the mistake that chiropractors often make when they are marketing their practice and building a following online. I also discuss the importance of communication and why deep relationships are the foundation of long-term success. ENJOY!
Most chiropractors only think about getting reviews when it comes to reputation management. Yes, getting reviews is the biggest piece, but having a responsive presence online and marketing your reviews are also part of the reputation management equation.
In this episode, I talk about the 4 basic reputation management options available for chiropractors. I talk about pros and cons, discuss price ranges, and let you know which reputation management option I would choose. ENJOY!
Lately, I’ve been talking more about online reviews. In episode 302 I talked about the importance of responding to online reviews. In this episode, I talk about 3 common myths that chiropractors believe about online reviews.
I discuss why negative reviews aren’t all bad, who your response is for, and why having more reviews than your competition isn’t necessarily the most important thing. ENJOY!
Most chiropractors are NOT and never will be marketing experts. But really, they don’t want to be. They just want to take care of people by being a chiropractor and make a good living. Is that too much to ask?
In this episode, I talk about the simple secret to having a successful chiropractic practice without being a chiropractic marketing expert. ENJOY!
Most of you know Kevin Christie from the Modern Chiropractic Marketing Show. He's a friend of the show, and I thought this would be a great time to have him back on since he has a new book called "Doing It Right: Modern Chiropractic Marketing."
In this episode, Kevin and I talk about the craziness of the last several months. We talk about the importance of building a loyal tribe, and we discussed some of the ins and outs of modern chiropractic marketing. ENJOY!
If you want to pre-order Kevin's new book, you can do that here.
I’ve talked a lot about the importance of getting reviews. We all know they help your SEO. They build trust with your future patients. But did you know that responding to your reviews is important also?
In this episode, I talk about the importance of responding to reviews. I discuss the importance of the tone of your response and why a negative review isn’t the end of the world. ENJOY!
