Glenn Munso is founder of the Youth You Program and author of 'Drugs Do Not Discriminate' and 'I Quit Drugs, Now What?' After taking and dealing drugs for many years Glenn at 21 landed himself in serious strife, facing heavy charges due to the violent, aggressive and unlawful character he had become... to a fair degree unbeknown to his mum. Today we banter and have the odd chuckle about his experience back then and get an insight into the effects that such lifestyle had on him. Glenns' down-to-earth and good natured personality is obviously a key driver in the success when it comes to connection and rehabilitation of drug affected youth through his Youth You Program.

After 3 years of relentless showing up and stepping up it seems I managed to wear my guru, Craig Harper down and get myself invited on his very popular podcast, The You Project for a chat... We had loads of fun and banter and Harps opened the lid on some real-ness to explore some seemingly unchartered territory in the life of this Tassie bogan. We shoot the breeze on progress and perspectives, we dance around vulnerability and Craig fires some straight shooting questions my way.

This episode is raw, touching and damn special. Because again, I reached out to someone in my own network and asked if they would share some of their life with me.... on air, of course. This story was bigger than what I already knew of them. Listening to it again as I edited, made me SO excited to share it and SO humbled that they trusted to share their story with me.
Gee whizz, talk about perspective... You may just have a new one after this episode!
I let a few extra f-bombs fly in the end of this one, because as always when we 'switch off' at the end, all the good stuff poured out... but on THIS occasion I was still recording.. #BOOM So the walls were down and I got to capture the more casual (and on my end at least, more bogan) banter.
Strap yourself in for a dose of... Hardship turned inspiration & resilience.

Murder, suicide, hoarding and squalor, who cleans up the mess left behind? Sandra Pankhurst. Sandra now runs Victoria's largest privately owned trauma cleaning company, and as we learned when we met Sandra P and explored her personal journey in episode 11, she didn't travel an easy path to get to where she is right now. Today Sandra shares some tales of trauma's dirty little secrets... We also banter about her take on transgender rights, about her meticulous work in brothels and about the violent and brutal rape that was catalyst for stepping away from that line of work.

Tony 'Jack The Bear' is a passionate mastering engineer (you hip kids might know what that means), he's a life long learner and an ever evolving credit to himself... I love talking to people openly and honestly about life's ups and downs and how the hell we navigate and process them along the way. I love that Tony has been around the block, tripped up, fallen down, gotten back up, learned a lot of lessons and opens up to share them with us amidst his journey. We darted off down some quite unexpected rabbit holes, I sure didn't think I'd learn about psychedelic's & cocaine today... yet I found Tony's vulnerability as a gruff muso dude quite refreshing.

Darren Hodge is a Victorian MICA Flight Paramedic of 33 years. In such time he has experienced growth through witnessing some unfortunately well-known events such as the Bali Bombings and the Black Saturday Victorian Bushfires.
It's not often us mere mortal get a peek inside the life of one of these fascinating that creatures that I like to refer to as superheroes. They're incredibly resilient, they're modest to a fault and in my opinion, they're quite literally Gods greatest gift to mankind.
In todays chat Darren recounts some of his experiences and shines a light on the self development and mental health strategies required to perform in a career as an emergency worker. You can find more on Darren and buy his book here https://www.darrenhodge.com/

Paul Taylor, self confessed 'pracademic', covers the building blocks for cultivating resilience. As a Former British Royal Navy Aircrew Officer, an Exercise Physiologist, a Neuroscientist, a Nutritionist and a student of Psychology he sure knows a lot of cool sh*t and he sure leads by example which is one of my highest values! You'll love this chat and if you adopt a 'pracademic' attitude and put it to good use I can guarantee this podcast will give you what you need to change your life... Especially amidst this Covid19 turmoil.

Roll With The Punches is where we step into the ring and go toe to toe with the hard sh*t life throws our way.
Hosted by former boxing champ turned strength coach and speaker Tiff Cook, RWTP brings you big conversations with world-class guests about psychology, relationships, trauma, the brain, and the patterns that can make a bloody mess of our lives.
If you're curious about human behaviour, keen to challenge the stories you tell yourself, and want to understand why the hell you do what you do, you're in the right place. Tune in. Tiff's in your corner.
The goal? To question what you've always believed, understand yourself a little better, and turn those aha moments into actual change.
Because knowing better and doing better are two very different things.
And let's be honest... life's gonna keep throwing punches. We may as well learn how to roll with them.
