Our friend Liam McIntyre - who wears his speed and achievements very lightly - takes a turn round Highbury and Stoke Newington to talk running for Wales, balancing training and motivation, perfect pacing, London Marathons and of course the Race To The King with Rob.
Thanks Liam! Find him on line - @LayRuns.

On an absolutely beautiful May morning, the guys catch up with much to report; Rob's poorly daughter, Paul's shonky shoulder, comedy adventures in Wales, Rob's continuing RTTK training featuring intervals and a lovely long run in the Malverns, Paul's weekend of disordered eating and new movie watching, Tonkstagram, the green green grass of Highgate, trouble in TV town, some disappointing drinking, another, slightly different running adventure, sweet chiropody, shonky toes and new shoes, and the ongoing hedonist quest.

Paul joins Rob for a Race To The King training run; witnessing a particularly wonderful London Marathon has got Rob in a lovey-dovey place - and Paul's taking his first steps on the comeback trail. Featuring hill work, Paul's shoulder and book plans, a shout out for marathoners who didn't make it, the power of the penultimate rep, how - to paraphrase ABBA - one of us is drinking, an impromptu comedy reunion, gig-and-weekend report, memories of dog-gate, the magic of being metronomic, and some more of your fantastic PBs.
Thank you to Mark Maier and Alistair McGowan!

Back in March Rob ran with a great runner, and a fellow Highbury Fields parkrun regular, the World Marathon Majors' David Macnamara. They had lots of global running to talk about - Seville and Las Vegas, in addition to London, Berlin, Tokyo, Chicago Boston and New York of course. But first, a bit of karaoke, and Dave has to try and get Rob off the subject of U2. Also featuring - on International Womens' Day - the revolutionary running women of the Boston Marathon, the wonder of London, some reverse rock star interaction - and an auspicious RunCom cameo. Then even more music talk...
Thanks David.

Paul's still wrestling with whether to run the Marathon Des Sables after hurting his shoulder in a fall last week - and Rob's just done the Brighton Marathon; lots to talk about!
