A (socially-distanced) run in the sunshine around Hackney Marshes, where the wild flowers are growing, but the grass is drying out. Featuring Rob and Paul’s thoughts on the world of work - despite their lack of first hand knowledge - bad dreams, old friends, cocktail recipes, home-schooling, romcoms and the joy of a fondled scalp.

Confident in their newfound social-distancing skills, Paul and Rob return to the Parkland Walk and Queens and Highgate Woods. Featuring haircuts, hazards, hangovers, ‘huffers and puffers’, and a reconstruction of Hill Rep Gate. No sign of Sienna Miller though…

Together again! Rob and Paul enjoy a spectacularly sunny turn around Hackney Marshes - socially distanced, of course. Featuring books, art, dogs, flowers, families, and of course parkruns, drinking, old films and Julie.

Beautiful day for a run - a pair of remote runs - as Paul and Rob get out for a good old catch-up. Featuring dog trippin’, hill reps and push ups, when comedy and running clubs go virtual, lovely Lisa Jackson, what not to wear and what not to watch, panic as the pillars of our weekends crumble, late greats Jerry Stiller and Nora Ephron, and all the cat news.

A timely remote catch-up for Paul and Rob - on a brace of leafy trots though North London - after a week of fairly dramatic highs and lows. Featuring dogs, TV stars, literary excitement, white goods on fire, misery magnums, low batteries, and the traditional running and drinking round up.

Rob and Paul manage to get out and chat - remotely of course - the day after the London Marathon 2020 would have been. Featuring their marathon memories, Paul’s challenging alarm situation, Rob’s crazy pop project, mileage and corkage, home-made entertainment shows and relentless rolling news, missing parkrun, post-lockdown book ideas, and a late appearance from a couple of old friends.

Another week, another remote record - Paul in his house in Crouch End, Rob in his garden in Newington Green - where, unfortunately, little to no running takes place. Both have observed London’s increasingly lackadaisical attitude to the lockdown, but their attitudes are very different - you can hear Rob’s stress levels rise, even as Paul relaxes into these crazy times.

Paul's back on the Parkland Walk, but Rob's off the treadmill and out in the leafy streets of Islington, as they record remotely once more. Featuring lax lockdowners, the new normal, drinking and Doritos, slippers and earplugs, what happens when stand ups are stood down, the huge respect Rob and Paul command from their immediate families, getting fitter and stronger and/or fatter and sadder, and a scary squirrel.

As if by magic, Running Commentary continues. Paul’s in the woods and Rob’s in his back yard, but they’re both still running, and shooting the breeze - on the phone. Featuring where comedians go in a lockdown, virtual parkruns, garden marathons, giant spiders and land-based sharks, the Queen’s attitude to slapstick, Father of the Bride in a pandemic, and a little bit of UK Garage. Stay safe, stay well and run on.

The second part of the boys’ run - well, walk; in Paul’s case, limp - in what turned out to be the last hours before the lockdown. Seems a long time ago now, although Rob and Paul were both deep in plans for this weird old time in their own crazy ways. Featuring nature good and bad, old adverts, old people, puns in a crisis, Wonder Woman, Madonna, cookies, cosmopolitans and cookery, and the right moment to order a treadmill.
