We launch our Season of Aussies! With the wonderful Dr. Jenny Brown, PhD. Jenny is the founder of The Family Systems Institute in Sydney, Australia and has worked as a social worker and family therapist since the early 1980s. She is well regarded in Australia for her training in Murray Bowen’s Family Systems Theory. Jenny is currently developing parent coaching programs and systems training for those in Family Businesses; and church and pastoral work.

Jenny’s research looks at parents’ experience of their adolescents’ mental health treatment. Her book Growing Yourself Up is an excellent, accessible and profound dive into Systems Theory and her most recent work is a collaborative effort, Bowen Family Systems Theory in Christian Ministry.
