Hey guys! Hope you're all minding yourselves and doing okay during these uncertain times. There's no pressure to be your best self or be as productive as possible but try not to fast forward this period, take everyday as it comes and it'll be over soon.
On this weeks episode (missing Ellie), I discuss my minor updates of my week as well as discussing my followers opinion or changes they'd like to see in Ireland in terms of socialism, education and the environment. It's hard for me not to politicise every issues in my life but there hasn't been a more clear alignment with political power and our livelihoods in every aspect.
I know discussing politics can rub people up the wrong away, especially the capitalist versus socialism argument, but remember if you're going to start an argument with me over dm, you'll have to wait a long time for us to have a public dance-off because of the lockdown, and that's the only way to settle this.
Anywhoodle I hope you enjoy the podcast and remember to check in on your loved ones! Talk again soon x

Hey guys, I really wanted this episode to NOT be revolved around the pandemic situation, but unfortunately, as I'm sure all of you can relate, it's all I can talk about. I am gagging for some goss off someone. I can't even vicariously live through someones else chaotic sex life anymore.
Anyway, trying not to put a dampener on things I put my entertaining hat on to bring you this podcast: me talking shite for 40 minutes. Apologies for the rambling but apparently some of you freakazoids are into that sort of thing. Wishing you all the best and if any of you have anything to add feel free to message me on insta: @kee_mon
Ellie and I will be meeting soon to record a pod on some non-coronavirus related shite talk next week. Hope you enjoy :)

On this episode Ellie and I discuss family dynamics, as ourselves coming from a divorced family. Even though it had happened to us at the same time, the few years between us had significantly varying impacts in our relationships and upbringing.

On this episode of the Same But Different podcast, we discuss topics that us women have traditionally felt somewhat ashamed to be honest about. Sexual liberation among females has been seen as promiscuous or un "ladylike" to a certain degree that has led to the secrecy or taboo subject matter.
I asked on my story of when my followers first had sex, and if they enjoyed it or not. To our surprise, a lot younger than what we expected, which has pressed the issue again of the lack of sex education in the Irish curriculum.
We hope you enjoy this episode and if there's anything you'd like to add don't hesitate to contact us on instagram @kee_mon or @ellie_moncrieff.
shout out to sexy Moya for the cover picture
sorry for the rant - also don't mean disrespect to Garda just one bad experience I've had with them
On this weeks episode for season 2 of my podcast, I'm joined with Ellie Moncrieff, my 19 year old sister. We're very alike in a lot of ways but polar opposites at the same time. We compare and contrast our social night lives, drunken mess stories and how we view alcohol. We gave our opinions on whether Irish peoples relationship to alcohol is perpetuating our high cases of poor mental health or if we're running to alcohol as our only viable solution.
In particular we hone in on a poster that has been circulating on social media which reads 'alcohol is the biggest rape drug'. We discuss the prevalence of victim blaming and the misconceptions surrounding consent.
With the closing of clubs such as Hangar and District 8, my night life as a 22 year old has definitely changed since I first started going out. The 'Give Us The Night' campaign has since started to combat issues such as club closures, late night licensing in support of Ireland's night time economy. To find out more about the campaign visit @giveusthenight on instagram.
A very new on the scene, online sex community known as 'only fans' has taken the internet by storm by the independency and profitability of the platform. A website to sell nudes to monthly subscribers, chosen by you, taken by you and owned by you! For this interview I talked to Jasmin Heaney, first known for her ED recovery, now runs one of the most successful only fans accounts in Ireland.
Throughout this podcast we uncovered the most asked questions; if her parents know, safety, nude leakage, relationships and future prospects. I really enjoyed this one so let me know what you think!

Rent prices, third level education tuition fees and the ever increasing cost of living in Ireland are at the forefront of issues and concerns for the people of my generation. On this episode of the podcast I'm joined with Craig McHugh, the Vice President of USI, Dublin region representative, who works closely with our country's minister for education on combating these issues.
With the upcoming general election, it is more important than ever to get involved in politics. "There seems to be a huge disconnect with the younger generations and politics in this country, when realistically it's us who's affected most", says McHugh. With the prevalence of the climate crisis and a combination of the length of time it takes for any changes to be made, the future of our generation has never seemed so daunting and hopeless, which highlights the importance of our vote.
If college tuition "doesn't seem that bad" to you, with a decrease in accessibility, especially for working class families, it ends up furthering the disparities and takes away opportunities of future decent work. In the long run this has a damaging affect on our economical growth and a perpetual increase in numbers of emigration.
I really enjoyed making this podcast, so hope you enjoyed listening!

From my first impression of Madison being a questionable one, I've since been exposed to the unique realm of semi-relevancy Ireland through social media. With 15-minute of fame and viral videos being more prevalent than ever, I uncover the realities of teenage internet stardom from an old favourite, 'just Maddie things'.
From my own experience of self-employment with a heavy reliance on my followership and engagement, I can empathise with the daunting fear of irrelevancy. Although Madison is not dependant on her following anymore, she discusses how she now feels like her following is a 'waste' and as a society it is blatantly clear that followers are the new currency and having traction online can have a huge impact not only on your social status, but your income or career opportunities.
We discuss, to my surprise, the extremities of online abuse, first impressions, lesbianism and dating with having an online presence. I hope you enjoy this episode as I did making it, happy hump day !!
