The Geno Smith debate has raged for two years now, and will continue on.... at least until we see how he fits and performs in Ryan Grubb's newly-installed Seahawks offense.

Statistics are plentiful, and no matter where you stand on Geno's skill-level and value you can find numbers to support you argument.

Which leads me to this question - where does Smith fit in the echelon on current NFL QB's?

In this episode I try to quantify that not by number, but by attempting to determine a trade value.

In essence - which other NFL QB's would you deal Smith for straight up if you had the chance?

Play along with me, and let me know what YOU would do!

When Bryce Coutts isn't recording episodes as co-host of the Hawks Zone Rundown podcast, he's coaching quarterbacks. After years of playing and coaching the QB position, he opened his own quarterback academy 3 years ago, where he gets to help tutor prospective signal-callers from the age of 10 all the way into their college years.

So today, we're going to break down all the aspects of playing the position and how it relates to teaching, coaching, and development. Then we'll apply those concepts to the NFL, and take a deep dive into Seahawks history to try and construct the perfect quarterback from the team's history.

This is a fun conversation so check it out!

Sanjit T runs The Football Scout YouTube channel (as well as some college scouting). And while his outstanding film breakdowns cover every position from all around the entire NFL, he has produced several videos lauding the talents of some young SEAHAWK players over the past two seasons.

He has a particular affinity for some of the young Seattle offensive lineman, a position of concern among the Seahawks fanbase for quite awhile.

Is there now reason for optimism that the Hawks are putting the pieces of a great O-line in place? Sanjit will go through the depth chart in detail with me and share his thoughts on each prospect.

And stick around to the end when we talk a little bit about some of the talent on the OTHER trench line in Seattle as well.

Wrapping up my 3-part series taking an in-depth look at the Seattle Seahawks division opponents through the eyes of opposing content creators, we finish with what may be the best team in the division in 2024 - the LA Rams.

Jake Ellenbogen correctly predicted last year that the Rams would win 10 games and make the playoffs, and the Seahawks would win 9 and miss out. So what does he think of what the Rams have done this offseason?

Jake joins me to share his thoughts on the Rams free agent signings, their deep draft, the retirement of Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford's contract status, how the Rams schedule shakes out, and much more....

If you follow college football you most certainly are familiar with Bruce Feldman's work. He's been covering CFB as both a journalist and sideline reporter for over two decades, and is a New York Times best-selling author as well as a regular contributor to The Athletic.

Today, he joins me on the show to discuss a wide range of topics that apply not just to the Seattle Seahawks, but also college football in the pacific northwest.

Among the things we discuss in this one....

*The 2025 QB draft class

*Sam Howell's long-term prospects

*Byron Murphy and his fit in Seattle

*The evolution of his annual FREAKS list

*Michael Penix and the situation in Atlanta

*Memories of Mike Leach

And so much more!

Dayna O'Gorman is one of the most-requested guests on the show and for good reason. A member of the Pro Football Writer's Association and contributor to Our Turf Football as well as the Real HawkTalk podcast, not to mention my former co-host on the Field Gulls podcast.... Dayna has her eyes and ears on the entire NFL and not just her beloved Seahawks.

Dayna shares her thoughts on the Seahawks roster and what she's expecting to see when training camp opens, in addition to her first-person account of her experience at the NFL Draft in Detroit.

We cover a ton of topics in this one.... ENJOY!

As I continue to take an in-depth look at the Seahawks NFCW division opponents, and what kind of offseason they've had, the focus shifts to the Arizona Cardinals.

Walter Mitchell is a lifelong Cardinal fan who writes for Revenge of the Birds and hosts the Red Rain Podcast. He joins me to offer up his thoughts on a number of offseason-related topics:
