I believe that we can all overcome loneliness and fulfill our own emotional needs, even with anxious attachment. This doesn’t mean that there are huge benefits to having a support network, but when we are able to look after ourselves, these networks become stronger and more meaningful.
Learning to self-soothe is one way that we can prevent loneliness and develop self-trust after a breakup. I have been on a personal journey with building this muscle over the last several years and know how life-changing it can be. In today’s episode I discuss:
-What it means to self-soothe
-How self-soothing relates to your attachment style and moving from an insecure attachment to a secure attachment style
-My experience learning how to self-soothe
-How self-soothing strengthens your friendships
-Beginner’s tips
