In this episode I speak to Irene from Scotland who had a ‘normal’ relationship with alcohol during her teens and twenties. She noticed it got a bit darker in her thirties before quitting at just over 41 years old. As Irene gets ready to celebrate her first Christmas without alcohol and her impending December birthday, she reflects on the change’s sobriety has brought her.
