Spike and Jonny are back in the garage breaking down the Mercedes VLE 'Grand Limousine' electric van, the Porsche 992.2 GT3 Touring's wild price hike, and the AMG GT 63 Pro. Plus, they roast Porsche's Toy Story collab, debate full-sized Lego cars, and sound the alarm on license plate surveillance that's harvesting your data.

Spike and Jonny kick things off with Pebble Beach plans for the 75th Concours d'Elegance including skipping the Quail to play tennis like civilized people. Jonny recalls the soul-crushing embarrassment of stalling a Pagani Zonda F Roadster at the factory, and Spike brings up Jerry Seinfeld's pre-race nerves with his 908/3.
On the car front: Johnny drove the Mercedes VLE electric van in Spain:(think Toyota Alphard energy, but German and plugged in) and came back impressed. The AMG GT 63 Pro gets a proper breakdown: 603 hp, 627 lb-ft, and enough German naming conventions to fill a dictionary. Then there's the Porsche 992.2 GT3 Touring in Gentian Blue: $240K base, a $38K Leichtbau package that sheds a whopping 48 lbs, and a new digital tachometer that somehow makes it even more desirable.
They also get into Porsche's one-of-one Toy Story character cars (silly) vs. the Earl's Court '51 Edition GT3 (very much not silly), pitch a Breaking Bad 'Walter White' Porsche spec that nobody asked for but everyone wants, and confirm their attendance at the Audrain Concours in October.
On the tech and culture side: a Jalopnik breakdown of EV battery emissions shows dirty manufacturing evens out within two years of driving. Meanwhile, a 404 Media investigation reveals roadside cameras aren't just reading plates, they're pulling infotainment data, pet microchips, Bluetooth IDs, and fitness tracker signatures to build consumer profiles. And the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is now a swamp. Spike wants to fish it.

Matt Farah explains why he's skipping Pebble Beach this year in favor of Detroit's Woodward Dream Cruise, a gloriously chaotic 15-mile traffic jam of muscle cars, customs, and exotics taking over Woodward Avenue.
Matt then delivers a full road test breakdown of the new electric Porsche Macan GTS: $105K base, up to 570 horsepower on Overboost, dual-motor AWD, rear-axle steering, and surprisingly excellent daily drivability. Charging on Tesla Superchargers? Yes. Annoying proximity key issues like Polestar and Lucid? Not a problem here. Matt's verdict: if money weren't real, he'd drive it every day.
Spike gives an update on Morris Solomons, their boutique consignment dealership currently featuring a 1974 BMW Batmobile and a clean Toyota FJ Cruiser. Matt also brings a surprise COTA race trophy for Jonny Lieberman, recounting how Jonny selflessly stepped aside to let Matt double-stint, helping their team take the win.
Finally, Sheffield Watches founder Jay Turkbas joins to debut the Sheffield Sport ceramic tennis watch along with the updated SCR II blue dial and a sneak peek at a rotated-dial rally watch designed in collaboration with Jonny. Oh, and Joe Biden wore a custom Sheffield on Jay Leno's Garage. Not bad for a three-year-old brand.

Jonny just got back from driving the Rivian R2 — a dual-motor, 656-hp SUV with Tesla Model Y dimensions, 330 miles of range, and a starting price around $47K. It climbs mountains. It's also 2,000 lbs lighter than you'd expect.
Then the boys break down the Audi Nuvolari, a surprise $700K, 987-hp mid-engine supercar with a Lamborghini Temerario hybrid drivetrain and styling that the guys compare to a WWII German tank and a Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots helmet. Jonny says it looks better in person. The jury's still out.
Speaking of Temerario, there's a Verde Mercurius example sitting right in the SCR garage. The guys play a guessing game on the options sheet. Base price: $387K. Final tally: $605K. That's $217,000 in carbon fiber, green paint, and red accents.
Elsewhere: Beverly Hills PD is cracking down on loud exhausts and their first target was a Porsche Carrera GT. Bentley is teasing a new electric SUV on a Porsche Cayenne EV platform. A Chinese humanoid robot kicks a kid at a demo. And Zuckerman handles listener mail involving a hot divorced landlord, a furniture-rearranging brother-in-law, and a neighbor named Bernie whose ultimate weapon was biological.

In this episode, the crew breaks down Donut's core philosophy: keep it educational, keep it entertaining, and make sure it's accessible to people who aren't already rich. That last part is why Porsche content historically tanks on their channel.
They get into the nuts and bolts of Donut's hit series HiLow (does more expensive actually mean more better?) plus the Low Truck Tacoma build, the Red Bull Soapbox race where a hollow 3D-printed Vin Diesel lost his head mid-run, and a fuel economy experiment in a supercharged Mustang. Nolan also walks back his take on RWB wide-body Porsches once the functional logic behind them clicks.
On the controversy side: the latest HiLow season landing on Tubi upset fans, but Nolan explains the business reality of keeping the lights on while promising a YouTube return. And Spike tells the full story of how Jerry Seinfeld's brutally honest Huel live read got the show dropped from their ad roster.
They close out with the electric Ferrari Luce debate, the Porsche Macan EV that actually drives like a Porsche, and a clueless driver who ended up on Seattle's elevated light rail tracks because she trusted her GPS.

The Ferrari Luce is either a bold reinvention or a $650,000 mistake depending on who you ask. Zuckerman says he can't tell it apart from a Waymo. With Jony Ive's LoveFrom studio behind the design, five seats, four motors pushing 1,100 horsepower, and an Apple-esque interior full of tactile glass and aluminum switches, Ferrari is clearly going after a buyer who wants status, not lap times. The guys break down the business logic and compare it to buying hundred-dollar blueberries at Erewhon.
Zuckerman then pulls back the curtain on his latest acquisition: a 1993 Alpina B10 Bi-Turbo in Daytona Violet. Sequential twin turbos, 360 horsepower, Recaro seats, custom wood trim, a boost knob on the dash, and a trunk full of surprises. This is the car that made Alpina's reputation.
Spike recaps his five-day trip to Indianapolis for the Indy 500. Apache helicopters, the Wienermobile race with Andy Richter, a rave in the infield, and a photo-finish battle.
The centerpiece of the episode: an exclusive, fully masked interview with the anonymous creator of Angeles Death Highway, the viral Instagram account roasting the self-seriousness of local car culture. He explains his process, why Mercedes-Benz global reps were reportedly not happy about one of his parody videos, and what he's actually trying to do: hold up a mirror so the car community can laugh at itself.

Jay Leno is 76 and still out-buying most of us. In this episode, he breaks down his latest haul: the Corvette ZR1, McLaren W1, Mustang GTD, and the wild 3D-printed Czinger 21C. He explains why the best cars today don't need ads, just a YouTube video and word of mouth. Jay also gets into what it was like hosting "Jay Leno's Garage" with President Joe Biden, complete with rooftop snipers, a custom Sheffield watch color-matched to Biden's '67 Corvette, and Hunter Biden showing up for ice cream.
Jonny Lieberman brings a proper review of the Lotus Emira Turbo SE: AMG engine, fixed DCT programming, and enough British quirks to fill a whole segment. The group debates Porsche Boxsters, EU speed-limit beepers, and hidden phone chargers engineered for Chinese regulations.
Jay also shares why he turned down a dramatic film role, what's in his apocalypse go-bag, and how a visit from the King of Jordan left him legally classified as an arms dealer.

This week on Spike's Car Radio, Jonny Lieberman details his white-knuckle drive in the Gunther Werks F26 — 880hp on pump gas, 1,000hp on E85, 2,200 lbs, manual transmission, and a power-to-weight ratio that embarrasses a Bugatti. He calls it peak analog violence, and then some.
The Swatch x Audemars Piguet collab caused global store chaos — door rushes, safety cancellations, and a pocket watch nobody actually wanted. Spike announces the new Sheffield Blue SCR watch drops May 27th with refined details including a more vibrant blue, slimmer bezel teeth, and a cleaner second-hand arrow.
Zuckerman drops a bombshell: he bought a classic purple Alpina B10 — twin-turbo straight-six, manual gearbox — currently sitting at the Port of LA. Jonny breaks down BMW's Alpina acquisition strategy and why it targets the ultra-wealthy gap between $200K BMWs and $350K Rolls-Royces.
Then things get heated. Canyon driver Cort Wagner reached out claiming the show was fueling controversy for views. Spike invited him on. He declined. His lengthy statement arrives instead — and Spike, Zuckerman, and Jonny don't hold back. Crossing double yellows on public roads isn't car culture. It's how people die.

Spike and Zuckerman just became official California car dealers under the name Morris Solomon's Purveyor of Fine Automobiles. They kick things off with Zuckerman's Panama trip (Miami, but with more suspicious bank buildings), then launch into the story of their newly acquired 1971 Porsche 911 T Targa, a former Dutch police car. It's got 4,000 original kilometers, Zenith triple-throat carbs, vinyl door sills for muddy cop boots, and a story so good Jerry Seinfeld called it 'meant to be.'
Then things get spicy in the canyons. The hosts unpack the LA car community feud between Evan the Canyon Carver and pro racer Cort Wagner, who got caught on camera crossing the double yellow and didn't exactly apologize for it. Zuckerman delivers the verdict: crossing the mustard is indefensible, and claiming superior skill as your defense just means you're an a**hole.
Spike then reviews the Polestar 4, a genuinely impressive EV with a baffling flaw: no rear window. Just a camera. He also takes issue with the buttonless key fob, the unreliable kick-to-open trunk, and the brand's insistence on using numbers instead of names.
The episode closes with Phil and his masterpiece: a fully street-legal, highway-capable Radio Flyer red wagon built on a Ford Explorer chassis. He's driven it on the 405. He's passed people.

Spike went to Long Beach and became the official face of heart valve health. Yes, really. Catch him on Good Morning America apparently.
Jonny Lieberman drives the 355 by Evoluto, a Ferrari F355 restomod with a carbon fiber body, wider track, gated manual, and 420hp. It's 200 pounds lighter than stock and Jonny loves it. Then they tear into the Starke Speedster, a 356-style body slapped onto a 718 Boxster chassis, and Spike is not impressed. Meanwhile, the Lucid Air Sapphire shows up with 1,234 horsepower and Bugatti-level quarter-mile times in a luxury sedan package.
Morris Solomon is now the official car curator for SCR fans, kicking things off with a museum-quality 1971 Porsche 911 T Targa with no miles, one of Jerry Seinfeld's cars. Also, Hyundai EV sales jumped 39.8% in a single month, so maybe pump the brakes on the "EVs are dead" takes. Aston Martin built a billionaire a single-seat, one-off track car based on the Valkyrie AMR Pro. It leaked. The guys have thoughts.
Join Spike at the Pacific Palisades Motor Classic on June 13th. Bring your car. Jay Leno will probably be there.

Andreas "Andy" Preuninger is the Director of Porsche's GT model line and the guy responsible for the GT3, GT3 RS, GT2 RS, 911 ST, 718 Spyder RS, and every other car that makes enthusiasts lose their minds. Spike calls him "the Pope of GT Cars," and Andy doesn't exactly disagree.
They break down the philosophy behind Porsche GT: driver engagement over raw numbers, lightweight over luxury, form that always follows function. Andy drops his personal specs for any GT car (front-axle lift, PCCB, bucket seats, and skip the fancy leather), explains why he hates black wheels with a passion, and shares why the GT3 Touring now outsells the winged version with 80% of buyers still choosing the manual.
On the new 2027 911 GT3 SC (Sport Cabriolet): Andy calls it an "everyday Speedster", a GT3 Touring with a fully automated roof built for the open-air crowd who didn't want to wrestle with a manual top. European emissions legislation in 2027 is driving the timeline, and production will roughly double the 911 ST's numbers. Andy also ranks the 718 Spyder RS in his personal top three out of 26 cars he's developed, explains how Porsche hides test cars from Nürburgring paparazzi, and gets into why he thinks the next frontier for GT cars is agility — not horsepower.
Plus: his personal 993 Cabriolet, what German driver's licenses actually cost, his Hemi-powered Dodge Ram, and whether he'd have a Corvette if he lived in the States.
