Despite how obvious you may think it is for people to 'tell' that you're hurt or bothered by something they did you'd be surprised at how often people genuinely don't know. Most people are more concerned with their own life to set time aside to assess all their actions toward you to make sure they didn't do anything wrong. It's your job to communicate your boundaries and enforce them and let people know when you're not happy with their actions. Stop expecting them to guess.
