Adriana Alejandre joins us this week to talk about how therapy can support the Latinx community as we deal with everything that is going on in our world. Adriana is the founder of Latinx Therapy and a certified therapist who specializes in trauma. Today, we talk about her work with the community in the aftermath of the Los Angeles wildfires. We also get into how to talk about the issues our community faces with our children, and when and how to share information with them. Adriana has so many great resources for those who identify as Latinx, those affected by the wildfires, and the undocumented community. There’s so much to talk about on this week’s Keeping Up With the Super Mamás. We start by checking in as we continue to deal with wildfires in Los Angeles. We feel so lucky to be safe and share the ways that we’ve been working together to give back and be in community. LA has really come together, and we are so proud of how our city and it’s people are take care of each other. This week on another Keeping Up with the Super Mamás, we dive in to all that’s been going on in our lives since the last time we caught up. Our restaurant Guelaguetza celebrated 30 years in business, and we threw quite the party to celebrate. Shout out to everyone that made that night possible! After that, Bricia was on the Today Show before Thanksgiving, and got to meet the one and only Martha Stewart. Then she cooked for Formula One in Las Vegas! We shared a great Thanksgiving as a family as well, the kids loved spending time together at Bricia’s. The holiday season is upon us, and we certainly have lots going on!
