Grief can make you feel like nobody understands what you're going through, especially when your loss looks different from everyone else's. In this episode, I’m sharing from my own experience with living grief and the loneliness that came with it, and why isolation can keep us stuck in a dark season longer than we need to be. We’ll talk about the lies grief can make us believe, the importance of Christian community, and why it’s okay to show up sad, broken, and imperfect while trusting Jesus to carry you through.
In this episode we’re discussing how the content you’re taking in is bringing you closer or further away from God and the person you’re wanting to be.
Take a moment to reflect on how your leisure time and friendships are shaping your life. 🤍
In this episode, I share about the season we've been in and ways we've been seeing God show up. In the past, I haven't always asked him to show up or given him the space to provide, especially for the small things. But lately we've been relying on God more and more and seeing Him show up is the sweetest.
In this episode, I'm diving into some things I've been studying when it comes to mental health. Dive into some Bible verses with me as we try to point our hearts back to Christ and being in step with the Spirit versus trying to reduce anxious feelings or other mental illness symptoms with only our own strength.
**This is in no way mental health advice nor stating that mental illness does not exist. Please speak with your own medical provider regarding treatment. This is simply some perspectives to consider if you're interested.**
In this episode I share about some conversations that have come up with my kids lately, inspired by the toddler saying "Jesus cried", leading into a life lesson based around John 11:35 Jesus wept.
Even though Jesus knew the outcome, he still grieved the death of Lazarus and it's okay for us to have "negative" emotions even when we trust God.
I'm so happy to be back behind the mic!
After taking some time off, I was able to reevaluate where the show is going. I will be continuing on with a season under a new name (art and name change coming in a few days), Teach Me to Abide.
I feel like that's the season God has been pulling me through for quite some time and I want the show to be focused around His goodness rather than all my strategies. While there will still be strategies and systems, when appropriate, doing things in our own strength is not the focus.
I'm not sure if I'll relaunch an email list or a website. If you want to talk directly, you can still email [email protected] or DM me on instagram @createdbycheska
Thanks for being here! I hope this show blesses you!

You can understand the tools, have the right systems, and still feel stuck.
In this episode, we’re naming the gap that keeps consistency from sticking: trying to do it alone. We’ll talk about why insight without support rarely leads to lasting change, how gentle accountability creates safety instead of pressure, and why support isn’t a weakness — it’s often the missing piece.
This episode bridges everything we’ve covered in the mini series and sets the stage for what’s coming next.
Almost Organized - A 3-Day Devotional for ADHD Women
If consistency has always felt harder for you than it seems to be for everyone else, there’s a reason — and it’s not a lack of discipline.
In this episode, we’re reframing inconsistency as a self-regulation issue, not a character flaw. You’ll learn why emotional regulation sits underneath habits, routines, and follow-through, and why no system works when your nervous system isn’t supported.
This episode will help you understand why you get stuck — and why tools and structure are meant to support you, not restrict you.

Consistency doesn’t become easy just because you learn the right tools.
In this episode, I’m talking about what actually changes when you stop chasing perfection and start practicing the skill of returning. We’ll unpack why struggling doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong, how shame keeps you stuck, and what it looks like to come back to your routines with grace instead of pressure.
This is the first episode in a short New Year mini series about building consistency in a way that’s sustainable, faith-rooted, and supportive — especially for women with ADHD.
