The Divorce and Beyond November Headlines Roundup with Susan Guthrie #272
It's time for the next installment of our monthly Bonus Divorce & Beyond Headlines Round Up episode with our host and one of the top divorce attorneys in the country, Susan Guthrie!
It's a mixture of celebrity headlines and high profile cases involving some more ordinary people with some out-of-the-ordinary problems and issues. Interestingly, there are two cases involving transgender people and the legal issues that can make things even more complicated. Basketball Superstar, Dwayne Wade's petition to change his daughter's name and gender is being opposed by his ex-wife while Tommy Dorfman and her husband have finalized their divorce, perhaps as a result of her recent coming out as transgender. Other cases in the headlines involve one woman's ongoing court battle to use a frozen embryo created with her ex to have another child over his objection, the crazy financial differences between couples that drove them to divorce and Cheryl Burke and Joey Lawrence's ongoing custody battle over their dog which is headed to trial in Janaury.
