Dr. Patrick Hanaway is a key thought leader and educator in functional medicine. After decades of work, his contribution and influence in our field continues to this day. His task force leadership at IFM during the pandemic helped to shape the functional medicine approach to COVID-19.  Also, as prior Chief Medical Officer for Genova Diagnostics, he helped to create the NutrEval Profile as we currently know it.
