In today's episode, I go over two very simple but very powerful questions to guide you in *actually* accomplishing your goals:
Once you get a handle on this, you crush your goals. This is so much more than setting goals like you've done for years and years. This is about taking the different actions required to have different outcomes compared to other goals, other years. This is not easy, but it's simple.

Imagine starting a private practice and being booked full in six weeks. That's the reality for many EntreMD Business School students, one of whom joined me for an interview on this week's EntreMD Podcast.
Dr. Tolu Olabintan tells us how she reached that fully booked status AND why she's still reaching.
Here's a little spoiler: Her practice now has 4,000 (!) patients, and she's still looking for ways to grow.
But why? Does she need to keep growing at this point?
Dr. Tolu said it beautifully: "I've seen myself being a better steward of my time, my finances, my resources. I see myself also being more of a blessing to people and also being blessed in return. So my life is richer."
And why would you stop if your life and the lives of those you serve get richer when you keep going?!
Dr. Tolu gives us a 2-minute rundown on how to see massive growth like she has in the past year and a half in my newest EntreMD podcast episode, "How to create massive growth in your business and life with Dr. Tolu Olabintan."

Feedback is a funny thing. You need it, but you also need to ignore it.
Here's what I mean:
To grow and build a really successful business that continues to serve your patients or clients and continues to grow and innovate, you'll need to ask for feedback as part of your regular system checks. You'll have to take feedback and use it for good.
But you'll also have to ignore feedback.
Notice I didn't say to instantly discard the feedback. Listen, filter, and move forward.
But how do you know what to filter into that ignore category? I'll help you, of course!
First of all, there are the people who love you but tend to give you feedback you can ignore. Family members, friends, favorite clients ... they are coming from a place of love and protection.
But they don't always have that window into your dreams. Without seeing that, they will tell you you can stop where you are, you don't need more, maybe even that your family will suffer. Again, they are sharing genuine concern, but it's OK to ignore their thoughts that distract you from pursuing your dreams.
Secondly, there's the feedback that says your service is no good. It is HARD to get a 1-star review (just ask me), but you know what I've learned? The people who have criticism that isn't constructive is often because they're either having a bad day or they're not your ideal client. When you recognize this, you realize it's not you. You're not doing anything wrong. Your group of ideal clients are happy and much more vast than those few critics.
When it comes to feedback, if there's something to learn, you learn it. Once you're done learning from it, you move on. Keep your ideal clients at the forefront of your mind, and be relentless in your commitment to serving them at the highest level, growing your capacity to serve them, to getting them results, and serving even more people like them.
THAT'S where your focus needs to be; you can't walk around with 1-star reviews in your head. Stay laser-focused on what it is you're there to do as a businessperson. Laser-focused. The feedback will come—feedback of all types. As it comes, see the opportunity to learn something and maybe make a tweak ... when you're done with that, throw away the rest.

If you're feeling like you're doing everything you're supposed to be doing but still not getting clients, it's time to do a good, honest audit of your business assets. An audit is a time to be brutally honest with yourself—without beating yourself up. And rather than approaching your audit with a "what am I doing wrong?" attitude, go into it with a "what can I do to make this work better?" attitude.
You've got this! And I'm here to help with the 3 questions I ask myself in my own business audits:
No. 1: Are you doing all the steps of your RGAs (revenue generating activities)? This one is important because if you are falling short in one of the steps, the whole thing won't work! The steps I'm speaking of are lead generation, nurture, and conversion. If you're not putting yourself out there, no one will know you exist (leads). If you're putting yourself out there so you have a good audience but you're not nurturing your audience, your chance of converting them into clients is slim to none. And, of course, if you're giving your great audience all the value but not asking them to be your client, you're missing out (and so are they)! I compare this to dating in my EntreMD podcast episode, What to Do When You Are Doing Everything but Not Getting Clients, so be sure to check that out!
In that episode, I also explain the other two questions to ask yourself in your business audit:
How are you doing your RGAs?
What is the volume of your RGAs?
Tune in for all the details!

I cannot wait for you to see the version of yourself that emerges on the other side of the "problems" created when your business zips past $100k, $250k, $1M!
After the EntreMD Business School had been operating for about two years, we had a number of students who had crossed the million-dollar mark.
And yes, when you hit to a million, you've created new problems for yourself ... but you just learn to problem-solve at a higher level.
The No. 1 focus at this stage—on your way to $1M—is building a viable team.
That is, hiring (knowing what you want), training (growing as a leader), and downloading the "spaghetti" in your head (implementing structure for thriving).
This EntreMD podcast episode is about these pain points of scaling and what to have in place to problem-solve at a higher level.

Embracing entrepreneurship and embracing success as an entrepreneur is so life-changing.
It doesn't just affect your business, it affects your life. I cannot tell you how many people I've coached in my EntreMD Business School who say they're not only grateful for all the business wins but also the life wins--improved relationships and quality of life.
And that is why I love entrepreneurship. You'll discover yourself, you'll discover your voice, you'll discover what's important to you. You'll discover what you're good at because until you start doing things, you don't actually know what you're good at.
In my EntreMD podcast episode The Real Truth About the Road to Success this and four other truths I have discovered in my entrepreneurship journey. Friends, it can feel messy, scary, uncertain, even isolating. But there IS a community for you, one that reaches high like you, supports you in uncertainty, and celebrates you for treading the sometimes-messy, sometimes-scary waters to follow your dreams and serve others!

This week, I’m joined by Dr. Tamara Beckford, and she’s taking us behind the scenes on the rollercoaster ride of physician entrepreneurship. When Tamara first came to the EntreMD Business School, she was truly afraid of public speaking. However, after the work we did together, she’s now an international public speaker. Tune in to hear from Dr. Tamara about how she went from being a shy doc, hiding herself online, to falling in love with public speaking.

If you want to be among the many physicians in my world who are hitting $100k in revenue, I have three main things for you to focus on. Whether you're a coach, a service provider, just starting out, or you're building a new vertical ... these three things apply to you.
The very first thing is keeping things simple.
Simplicity, scales; complexity, constrains. The simpler your business and offers are, the more you can grow and scale.
The more you add layers of complexity, the more you create this business that cannot grow, cannot scale.
So think simple. If you're a coach and you're trying to make your first $100k, one of the greatest temptations you must avoid is the temptation to create a million offers. Do one thing, and do it a lot. Direct all your energy at that so you can become really good at delivering.
Then do the math. How many do you have to sell to get to your revenue goal? You'll find out it's not a whole lot—it's more doable than you think.
The next two focus areas are selling and marketing—making offers and making sure they're visible. More on that in this episode of the EntreMD Podcast. Enjoy!
