Jen Hatton, Irish actor, comedian, one half of the Unpopular Opinion podcast and now mother of baby Bobby joins us on everymum the podcast.

From annoying questions we are all asked while waiting for baby to arrive to c-sections and post natal pre-eclampsia plus unexpected moments of chaos, there is power in seeing the funny side to life as a new mum.

The first 8 weeks of motherhood is a learning curve and in this episode we talk about that post partum doubt and overwhelm, we laugh about the silly overthinking, how the days disappear, how babies know exactly when to interrupt our routines and how difficult it is to simply get out the front door.

We talk about how having an online community has given Jen sound advice but that deep down we need to listen to ourselves and apply common sense.
