In this episode, we interview Chelsea Cherry, founder of Triple Threat Lifestyle who is leading, transforming, and inspiring people of all ages and fitness levels to pursue total well being. Chelsea is also one of our best friends! We connected with her through Instagram when she approached us last summer to collaborate on a project, and we’ve been creating together ever since. We’ve actually grown even closer over the last few months as the pandemic has been unfolding and causing us all to pivot our businesses. She has been someone we can have these tough conversations with around what’s happening in the world. From COVID to racial injustices, we have to be willing to journey through the uncomfortable terrains to dismantle everything that has created this reality right now. We are committed to creating a more welcoming platform and community for people of all backgrounds, races and ethnicities. One way we are doing this is by highlighting voices of color. We feel it’s important to highlight Chelsea's voice and her perspective and experience as a mixed race woman in the wellness industry. In this episode, we’ll cover: (17:28) How to be flexible in winds of change and pivot your business and messaging to match your audience’s needs. (22:04) How to be a conscious leader in times of adversity. (36:12) Getting to the root of and healing the wounds of racism. (38:26) How racism can show up in not so apparent ways in our daily life. (49:21) Steps to take to create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for BIPOC in your communities and circles. (56:06) How to stay well and strong and prioritize your well being in turbulent times. **Find more information about our Awakening Jungle Retreat this September at www.sistersthatstray.com.
