Things feel heavier these days, don't you agree? Today I share the one question I ask myself when I feel like everything is going wrong or I find myself in a negative spiral. I feel like these days, it's more challenging than ever to keep my mind right and so this question helps to intervene and get me on track. Try it and let me know what you think.

Today's episode is all about getting your product into your dream retailer and how I hustled my way into getting distribution with retailers like Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom Rack and airports nationwide. I break down what it takes to connect with and get the attention of busy buyers and what they are looking for in a new product.

Today's episode is all about the untold story of the minutes, hours, days and months spent waiting for your big dream to come into fruition. We love to highlight the wins and big moments in business, but there is a lot of stillness and suspense between each of those wins. No matter what your dream looks like, it's going to take time to see it come to life. Waiting is the price of admission for any dream life and we don't talk about it enough because the story is less interesting. So, today let's talk about it!
In today's chat, I reference episode no. 4 Permission to Go Slow with Dianna Cohen of Crown Affair. If you haven't listened yet, you can tune in here.
I also reference Lori Harder's podcast, Earn Your Happy which you can listen to here.

Today's episode is all about reconnecting back to your most authentic self with Jacq Gould, founder of Your Inner Babe. We chat the power of showing up as your true self and how it's not always easy to do so. She provides some tactical advice for doing the work and showing up as yourself, but if you want to dig deeper feel free to check out her signature 8-week program Reconnected here.
A little more about Jacq: After battling eating disorders and lack of self-confidence all throughout her adolescence, Jacq was finally connected to some amazing clinical professionals. But even after what felt like hundreds of therapy sessions, she continued to feel alone. What she needed was something outside the clinical box. She needed someone who understood exactly what she was going through, someone who could look her in the eye and relate to the lack of self-love she was experiencing on a daily basis. A confidant, a close supporter, someone who would hold her accountable to herself and encourage her bravery every single day.
Cue YOUR INNER BABE™ In 2017, Jacq became that person. She started, YOUR INNER BABE to help women like YOU who are ready to own their inner struggles and turn the whole damn thing around. YOUR INNER BABE offers group coaching programs, 1:1 support, and spiritual healing. With group programs selling out two months in advance and producing series with guests such as Kate Bosworth and Lalah Deliah, YOUR INNER BABE transforms the attitude of people’s minds around self-worth and self-acceptance.

Today is the final day of my 22 day challenge where I showed up daily to speak from the heart and own my truth. I can honestly say that challenging myself in this way has made what once felt uncomfortable almost second nature. So, ask yourself, where are you feeling uncomfortable in your life and how can you do more of it to get to the other side? Creating a dream life is going to be filled with opportunities to push through the uncomfortable, to get to the good stuff. It won't be easy, but I promise you it's worth it.

Today I share why perfection should never be a goal in creating your dream life. Perfection isn't real. There will always be ups and downs, setbacks and struggles. Creating your dream life is not always pretty. In fact, the more you push yourself outside your comfort zone and challenge yourself to uplevel your life, the more stuff that's going to show up. So, let go of the expectation that living the dream needs to be anywhere near perfection. It's more than likely going to show up really messy.
Today is Day 21 of 22 days of solo episodes where I'm challenging myself to go all in on being me and speaking my authentic truth daily. I've accomplished a lot in my life personally and professionally, but I still find myself wanting to master the art of being me. I decided to have some fun on the journey by sharing whatever is on my heart and mind that day.

Today I'm talking about the benefits of being a little controversial sometimes. I talk about the importance of conflict in helping to solve problems and invoke a deeper understanding of a situation. While cancel culture has us all a little afraid of speaking our truth sometimes, I believe there is power in others perspectives and we can disagree with one another without taking it personally.

Today I'm getting real about the spiritual journey I've been on and why religion never sat well with me. I know spirituality and religion can be a touchy subject, but it's a real part of my dream life and I want to create a community that is open to hearing experiences and beliefs of all kinds, so listen in with love and know that I honor any spiritual connection you have on your end, including religion. Sending love and light your way!

Today I had a good cry and it was equal parts relief to get the outcome I was hoping for and also frustration with myself because I keep finding myself holding on so tightly to the perfect outcome and worrying about things that never come to fruition despite knowing these habits are draining and depleting. Surrendering your dreams is an art, not a science and if you're struggling to let go, know you're not alone. You've likely been controlling, forcing and pushing a lot longer than letting go. There is so much beauty and peace in the act of surrendering, we just need to practice it like we do any new skill.
