Dr. Alexandra Philipsen is the professor at the University Hospital in Bonn, Germany, where she also serves as the director of psychiatry and psychotherapy. She earned her doctorate in neuropediatrics in 1998 and completed her habilitation in 2009, focusing on the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of adult ADHD. Dr. Philipsen has been integral in developing and refining group therapy programs, notably incorporating Dialectical Behavioural Therapy tailored for adults with ADHD. Since 2018, she has headed the department for psychiatry and psychotherapy at the University of Bonn.
