  • June 4, 2019 - Ja'Quinden Jackson Commitment and LSU Preview

The 6-foot-2, 219-pound star for the Panthers becomes the highest-ranked player in the 2020 class and potentially adds another talented signal caller in that room. Where does Jackson fit in the grand scheme of Longhorn quarterbacks and what impact does this have on DFW recruiting?
Now that the Bru McCoy transfer back to the USC Trojans is official, we wanted to take a look at it from the USC angle. Dina Colunga of Conquest Chronicles answered our questions about the impact McCoy’s move had on the USC program.

We also welcome in Tanner Spearman of Underdog Dynasty to kick off our season previews with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. • May 7, 2019 - Offensive Line Preview and Baseball Gets Swept
The Texas Longhorns baseball woes continue as they went to Lawrence, KS and left with three losses, putting them firmly at the bottom of the conference. As they look down the barrel of missing the postseason altogether, Kyle and Gerald try to figure out where it all went wrong and how Texas can improve for the future.
As the 2019 football season gets closer and closer, we take a look at the next position group, the offensive line. Texas needs to replace Calvin Anderson and Patrick Vahe, both of which are currently fighting for a spot on an NFL Team. Thankfully they have what appear to be ready-made starters in Samuel Cosmi and Parker Braun to fill the spots. How will those two fair and how deep will Texas be at those spots?

  • April 23, 2019 - Baseball Slides and Quarterback Expectations
The Texas baseball team had its worst stretch of the season, being swept by the Oklahoma State Cowboys and giving up 36 runs in three games. Now as they enter into the final stretch of the season, they need to look for answers if they want to salvage a once-promising season. So what does David Pierce need to do in order to right the ship as they welcome the West Virginia Mountaineers to Austin?
As the Longhorns head into the summer, the football team has questions that need to be answered, including the quarterback position. Nobody is questioning Sam Ehlinger as the starter, but what are fair expectations for him heading into his junior season? And with his style as a runner and injury history, will Casey Thompson be ready to step into the role if-necessary?

  • April 16, 2019 - Spring Game and Baseball Woes
The Texas Longhorns took the field for the annual Orange and White game to cap off their 2019 spring practice season. The wind kept down much of the offense, which gave the defense an advantage. Fans got a look at the new-look secondary, a retooled offensive line and an idea of what the future can hold with the early enrolees.
Texas struggled at home for the first time since beginning conference play, falling to the Kansas State Wildcats two gamess to one. Both the bats and pitching were inconsistent, Texas had a couple of key performances from its usual contributors.
