This week Kathryn and Kristi welcome their first ever mother-daughter duo, Melisa Rollins and Lisa Nelson. This pair of Leadville legends has an impressive history with the MTB 100 Race in Leadville, and this year Lisa finished the race for her 20th time! Known by those around her as “The Hammer,” Lisa tells us what prompted her to sign up for the race the very first time back in 2000, and what has kept her coming back year after year. The iconic race has had a massive impact on both women’s lives, and the pair discuss how they have inspired each other as well as how the race has evolved over the years.
