On this episode of The Savvy Social Podcast, I'm sharing my interview with Lisa Zawrotny on the Positively Living Podcast.
We dove right into all about the recent advancements in AI, including how ChatGPT is impacting the way we create content and do business. We explored how AI tools can be a powerful asset for generating creative content but being careful not to ignore the concerns about authenticity.
The more we celebrate how AI has become part of our daily lives, the more important it is to ask questions about the legal and ethical implications of AI technology.
Join us for an amazing conversation about the intersection of AI and content creation.

On this episode of The Savvy Social Podcast, I'm sharing my interview with Michelle Mazur on the Rebel Uprising Podcast.
And we talked about one of my favorite subjects: content repurposing.
I've been talking about digital brains, repurposing, and remixing all year long, so I was more than happy to talk to Michelle's audience and get into the weeds of content repurposing and how to dive into the analytics to know how your content is performing.

Baby number two is on the way, which means big changes for my business.
I'm mentally preparing myself for the chaos that comes with having two babies under two years old, and I have so many questions. How will my toddler handle having a sibling? Can I still deliver for my audience while taking on these new challenges?
During this episode, I'll be sharing how I'm giving myself permission to show up in a capacity that makes sense for me, my family, and my business. I might not be able to do everything I want, but that's okay.
I'm also sharing my plans for my maternity leave, including trusting my team even more, repackaging existing content, getting ahead on podcast recordings, and putting all new projects on hold.
So, whether you're pregnant, navigating life changes, or just curious about how business owners tackle the juggle of motherhood and business, this episode is for you.

It's that special time of year when we look into the future of social media and digital marketing with my big predictions.
Some of my 2023 predictions were perfect, and some others not so much. But that's the nature of the quickly evolving world of digital marketing. I can't get it right all the time, but it's definitely fun giving it a try.
Things move so quickly online that you have to plan for the future while being ready to adjust for everything you can't plan for (do I need to mention how quickly AI became a part of our lives as marketers in 2023?).
With 2024 right around the corner and off the heels of hosting my in-person retreat, I have some exciting predictions to share for the new year, with a big emphasis on reconnecting with what makes us uniquely human and the evolution of community building and engagement.

Sharing that viral post on social media is all fun and games until the lawyers start calling!
While you're trying to keep the social part of social media alive by sharing the latest meme or remixing someone else's content, as a business, you can't ignore the potential risk of using someone's content without their permission.
But when is the time right? When is it safe? Should you stick to original content only?
That's what we're exploring in today's episode with Autumn Witt Boyd, who runs a law firm for coaches and online educators.
Autumn is giving us a lawyer's perspective on the complexities surrounding viral videos, memes, and remix culture and how businesses can begin to think differently before reposting without permission.
Learn the importance of understanding your rights and responsibilities when using viral videos and memes, and if you've ever wondered about the ins and outs of copyright law as a creator and business owner, we've got you covered in today's episode.

Let's talk about a myth that's been disguising itself as social media advice: The more you post, the faster you'll grow on social media.
I'm here to tell you it's not true. The numbers don't support posting 10 times a day as a fast track to social media success.
Can you imagine if that was true? Just think how much content overload we would be in if that were true. Thankfully, after working in social media for decades now, I can confirm that there is a simpler, less time-intensive way to grow on social.
Let's talk about the three main ways I use to help my clients and my biz grow without falling for the content overload myth.

Do you like to jump on the latest social media trends? Social media is meant to be fun and, well, social. So, the popularity and evolution of trends make so much sense.
As brands, we see everyone else having fun, so why can't we join in? Does our content have to be all about business?
It's easy to think that trends are all about hopping on a bandwagon and have no real value, but it's so much more than that, especially for business owners.
In today's episode, let's talk about the importance of aligning trends with your brand values, avoiding cringe-worthy moments, and staying true to your audience. We'll even touch on the ethical considerations of leveraging trends and the potential pitfalls to watch out for.
So, whether you're a content creator, business owner, or just want to nerd out on the history and evolution of trending content, this episode is for you.
