    About the Guest

Tarzan Kay is an email marketing expert who teaches how to sell big with truth-infused, story-based emails.

Tarzan is a former copywriter-for-hire who specializes in fun-to-read, more-addictive-than-Netflix email copy. Her online courses teach course creators how to infuse their emails with story and make consistent sales without using harmful persuasion strategies.

In a previous life, Tarzan was a music major and – like so many copywriters – did a 3-year stint in law school, en français! She found her way to the online space through blogging and social media ("What's up, overdue credit card bills and low-paying clients!").

When T-Boss isn't writing delectable emails from behind a desk, she can often be found taking mid-day dunks in the ice bath a la Wim Hof, solving a Rubik's cube, or singing show tunes in the shower.

    Memorable Quotes
    • The best content is from your clients. Whatever your clients' challenges are...write about those.
    • LinkedIn actually rewards dwell time. The longer someone is on your posts, they believe that the content is better so they will spread it further.
    • You could have the best content, but if you're not triggering the algorithm, you're not going to get the views.

  • LinkedIn Marketing in 2021

Over the past few years, I've seen my students and clients reach their goals faster and with less energy.

➡️ They're posting less and getting more results.

➡️ They're connecting with quality people (and they've left the vanity numbers behind).

➡️ They're having actual conversations with potential clients, collaborators, and partners.

And this is all because of LinkedIn.

In this episode of the podcast, I talk about:

    • Some of the BIG changes LinkedIn made this year
    • 7 reasons to consider LinkedIn Marketing in 2021
    • LinkedIn's stance on building community
