There's a reason we call dogs "man's (and woman's of course) best friend". They're loyal, loving and oftentimes, considered to be an additional family member.
They can sniff out disease, drugs, bombs, money. They pull heavy weights. They catch criminals. Some dogs even provide a service for people with disabilities, like guide or anxiety dogs.
So we know dogs are remarkable. They can be trained to do incredible things. But can a dog, who just lives in your house to be loved by you, actually be beneficial to our mental, emotional and physical health?
In this episode of The Quicky, we speak to an expert to find out what health benefits our fur babies can provide for us.
