More and more Aussies are being duped by job scammers. Offers of large pay days, working from home and minimal hours, with an easy recruitment phase and little to no experience needed.
But what an increasing number of Australians are finding out, is that these job offers are actually scammers stealing from you.
In this episode of The Quicky, we look at what these scams look like and how you can make sure you don't fall victim to one too.

Pregnancy can be expensive. When you tally up the expenses covered and not covered by private health insurance, the costs for obstetricians, scans, supplements, and therapies can be daunting.
But what if you have concerns about potential genetic risks? How much does genetic testing cost? Starting today, Medicare will cover genetic screening for specific concerns.
In this episode of The Quicky, we hear about how one families immeasurable loss sparked a change to the Medicare Benefits Scheme.
Please note that this episode discusses child loss, and listeners are encouraged to take care when listening.

On Friday the United Nations general assembly overwhelmingly called for an "immediate, durable and sustainable humanitarian truce" between Israel and Hamas.
The motion, drafted by Jordan, had 120 nations voting in favour, 14, including the US and Israel voting no and 45 countries, including Australia, the UK and Canada abstaining from voting at all.
Why would our representatives not support a stop to the fighting to allow Gaza to receive medical aid, food and water?
In this episode of The Quicky, we take a look at why Australia chose to step away, when 120 countries voted in favour of a truce, and why they believe the resolution was incomplete.
