Sota Maehara is almost a household name amongst Sydney runners. Known not only for his lightning fast times across 5, 10 and ultra distances but also for his down to earth, kind and welcoming nature that he brings to the Sydney running community. Sota has gained popularity on YouTube sharing his running journey and training philosophy, inspiring the masses to dream big, train smart and have fun along the way. Sota doesn’t do things in halves.
Sota recently competed at the Wings For Life Charity Run raising funds for spinal cord research and flew through in a whooping 4:03m/kms avg across 52kms, ranking him top 50 in the word. We get to hear his race break down, nutrition, pacing and more.
