Over the years of working with thousands of women losing weight, I’ve identified three distinct stages of the weight loss journey that everybody goes through: the first five pounds, which are swirling with indecision; the “messy middle,” which challenges your patience and fortitude; and the last five pounds, where so many women are tempted to quit right before they reach the finish line.
