  • Why I stopped going to therapy | Trauma Coach
In this episode, I talk about why I stopped going to therapy. Recently, someone asked me if I still go to therapy every week, and the answer is ‘NO.’
There's evolutions to this, all of this life, everything that we do. As we evolve, you have to recognize that you probably will level up and level out of where you're at right now and who you're with today, and that applies to therapy, that applies to coaching.
    Take a moment.
    Contemplate.

  • Akbar Sheikh - Make more to give more | CPTSD and Trauma Healing Coach
In this episode, we have guest speaker Akbar Sheikh. Akbar is a man that I met about a year ago, who has helped me a tremendous amount, just in what I've learned about community building, what I've learned about bringing people together, what I've learned about growing a business for service. As you may have seen as titled, this episode makes more to give more, and that is Akbar's entire mission, to help empower people and make more money so that they can give more.
This conversation is fascinating. I enjoy it a lot and one because it's a friend and a mentor but two I think that if you really listen and pay attention, you'll think about life through maybe a little bit of a different scope than you have been in terms of what you give to your community, to your family, to your friends not even just financially but in all aspects.
And so, I'm very excited about this episode with Akbar Sheikh.
What do you think would happen if you got out of your own way?

  • 3 Steps to Ask For Help | Mental Health Coach
In this episode, I want to talk to you about how you ask for help and their three steps. A big part of this has always been about trying to empower ourselves to be able to ask for help because the truth is, and you've heard me say this before; you can't do this alone. No one I've ever met in my life has found great success without having assistance and guidance along the way.
Do you ever feel guilty about asking for help?
Do you ever feel like you'll be ashamed or embarrassed if you step into that level of vulnerability?

  • Who do you get your advice from | CPTSD and Trauma Coach
In this episode, I was thinking about this over the weekend as I was reading one of Grant Cardone's books, it's little booklets called the Millionaire Booklet, and his second chapter is titled, where do you get your advice?

We talked about clarity on this show and what it means to make sure that you know exactly what you're moving towards; when it comes to my coaches and mentors in my life, I think about the clarity that I have around. There are many things you have to take into consideration, but you must be mindful.

Today, how do you bring clarity into your life?

  • Deborah LeBlanc - How to find yourself | Trauma Healing Podcast
In this episode, I speak with Deborah LeBlanc. Deborah is an entrepreneur, a renowned public speaker, a best-selling author, a business strategist, a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Master NLP Practitioner, Certified MER, and a Therapeutic Imagery Master Practitioner.
I wanted to have her on the show because my experience with hypnotherapy transformed so much of the subconscious that it has given me the ability to be where I am today. I have lots of different things, especially in this healing journey, and one of those things early on was hypnotherapy and hypnosis.
I was very excited to bring Deborah on, to talk about her journey, what hypnotherapy is and how we can apply it to our lives. Because I believe in it, like I truly do, and I know it feels for many people listening to this if you've never done it before, it may feel like, woo-woo or outside of the norm that you can't even fathom doing it. Still, I truly believe that one of the greatest parts of the healing journey is getting out of your comfort zone.
Also, she offers every person to take this, I'm telling you to do what I'm about to say. Please email her at [email protected], and in the SUBJECT LINE, you put Think Unbroken Podcast, and she will give you an hour hypnotherapy session for FREE.
So take this offer because I promise you that (a) she's an incredible practitioner and (b) the power of hypnotherapy in my own life has been incredible. This is one of my favorite episodes. I’m very excited about this one!

  • How to handle the difficulties of life | CPTSD and Trauma Coach
In this episode, I talk about how to handle life's difficulties. As people who have survived traumatic experiences, we all know that we have faced these incredible difficulties. More often than not, those difficulties have been laid upon us; they're not difficulties that we have sought. And because they are laid upon us, we find ourselves using what I will call a phrase that too many trauma survivors use myself included historically, anyway, that I thrive in chaos.
How do you navigate the difficulties of life?

  • Paul Beam - Finding & Owning your True North | Trauma Healing Podcast
In this episode, we have guest speaker Paul Beam, who has the True North Podcast. Paul's is an incredible human being, a former military veteran service member of a man of tremendous value who's helping other men along their journey. I thought it was serendipitous that he would come and be a guest on Think Unbroken today as we are launching The Unbroken Man book. Paul is incredible because he talks about so many things that hold true to me that I look at, and I go, man, if I had known what he was talking about when I was 20 years old, I don't even know where I'd be.
Now, of course, I recognized you can't change the past that's not what I'm trying to say in that. Just looking at and understanding that the structure in which our lives are formed can forever be changed by when we start to shift and change our identity. We will talk about the 3P system and many other things, I'm very, very excited about this conversation.
The quality of your questions determines the quality of your life.
Ask yourself this, am I asking myself the right questions to move my life forward?
And that's going to be part of the conversation I'm having in today’s episode.
    Unbroken Nation, buckle up!

  • The Unbroken Man | CPTSD and Trauma Healing Coach
This episode is for everyone, but I'm guiding it to men, and the reason why is because one of the big things that is happening that I'm super excited to announce is the launch of the pre-order for my next book called Unbroken Man A Man's Guide to being the Hero Of Their Own Story.

I wrote Unbroken Man, and you can pre-order that book right now if you go to men.thinkunbroken.com, which is accessible for both men and women. So, I want to be very clear about that, but I want you to understand it is written to men through a man's viewpoint.
For women, there are tips and tools here that you will read from a man's perspective that may help you understand the men in your life better. And for men, there are tools here that I would call the foundational Baseline 101 entry high level into what it means to step into this journey.

As a man, do you ever feel lost, broken, unheard, and stuck?
    Tune in now!

  • Ken Joslin - Growing through self-leadership | Trauma Healing Coach
In this episode, I speak with Ken Joslin. Ken is a Pastor turned Coach and a real estate professional. Ken Joslin is a driven leader who has closed over $250mm in real estate transactions. He has planted multiple churches and mentored hundreds. He is passionate about helping business leaders Build Confidence, Gain Clarity & Create Community. More than that, Ken is a generous father and friend. He is an amazing human being; he's one of those people I get inspiration from; people are always asking me, like, who do I look up to? Who do I learn from? Who are my mentors? People like Ken, it's people who are authentic, who show up, who are vulnerable, who try to create massive change in the world, which lead through their values, not as transactions. Still, instead of creating significance in the world and the more I've connected with this man, the more I'm inspired, the more that I'm like, I can be a better leader, I can be a better servant to the Unbroken Nation. I can show up more authentically and genuinely every day and have more gratitude. All of those things were going to talk about today.
The truth about shame is that you are not the mistakes you have made. You are far from your mistakes; instead of leading with shame, try reframing your internal dialogue to learn from the mistakes. There are great lessons in our actions in the failures experienced and when we were at our worst or most vulnerable.
I'm very excited about today's episode with Ken. This conversation isn't. I literally got goosebumps five times listening to this.
So buckle up; it's time to rock and roll. Let's get into the show!

  • Power of Routine | Mental Health Coach
In this episode, I talk about the power of routine. I think about my life before routine and about my life after a routine and the impact that it's had on my mental well-being, physical well-being, and emotional well-being.
Routines help us to create positive daily habits that promote self-care. We can organize our time around things that we deem important to maintain happiness and feelings of fulfillment.
Today, I want to share my routines in life and how they will help me with my healing journey.
