Tara speaks with Roy Kim, a former pastor and certified sex addiction therapist. 

Having had experience as both a sex addict and a betrayed partner, Roy has a unique perspective on the challenges for both parties. He describes what sexual addiction is, how it can start and the steps needed to begin recovery. Roy also speaks about how sexual addiction affects the betrayed spouse and the difficulty in defining their partner's behavior as an addiction.

Tara and Roy discuss the spiritual aspects of recovery and how addicts can approach prayer. Roy hopes that more churches will become a refuge and spiritual hospital for men and women with addictions and trauma. 

Roy Kim has a private practice in Southern California where his clinical focus is treating sexual addiction and betrayal trauma primarily through group therapy.
