Today I’m talking about when to sell in DMs and when to sell on calls, which is something that is somewhat of a hot topic in the online space and coaching industry at the moment.
Right now, the conversation around selling is definitely skewed more toward DM’s being the thing to do. A lot of people have the opinion that you should be selling in DM’s over sales calls any day of the week but that is simply not true. Sales calls still have a core place in business so today I’m sharing the benefits of sales via DM’s and calls and when is best to utilise each strategy.
Sales calls are great for relationship building and they allow for a connection that you just can’t access in DMs. They’re also a great place to hone your sales skills and understand your ideal client's questions and objections more intimately.
The biggest reason why people are supporting DM’s as being the way to sell is that it supports time freedom. It’s a way to run your business without having to be on sales calls, which is super appealing. It’s also great for discerning who is and isn’t your ideal client and creating an ongoing relationship. DM’s are also a great way to sell courses, low ticket offers and anything to scale. That’s not to say you can’t sell high ticket offers through DM’s. You absolutely can!
When there are so many voices in the online space talking about sales strategies, it can be confusing to know what to do. My hope for this episode is that it brings you clarity on knowing what’s best for you and the freedom to choose your sales strategy based on your business, not what other people are doing.
