They come in many weird and wonderful shapes and sizes. They are diverse, annoying, challenging, loving, judgmental, funny and a complete and utter mess, for some unknown reason....their opinions of us matter. 

We want our grandparents to see us doing well, our parents to be proud, our siblings to like us and our children to think we are heroes! It’s a lot. Even in that one sentence you can feel the pressure. Expectation is coming from all angles like arrows stabbing at your self-esteem and it can be hard to satisfy the needs of everyone…especially when you are sober.
