Today's podcast will be a little different from our typical podcast episode. This episode will feature a round table interview with three incredible guests whose lives have been transformed by switching to a whole food plant-based diet. Our three amazing guests are Lexa Treml, Kimberly Herbert, and Carl Zingle.

Lexa Treml was diagnosed with an ovarian teratoma at the age of 22. Immediately after her doctor's appointment, she went on a raw plant-based diet, and when she had her surgery six weeks later, her ovarian cysts were gone, much of the tumor had cleared up, and she no longer had acne. Then eight months after Lexa's surgery, she could run her first ten-mile race since she was no longer tired!

After seeing many doctors, in May 2019 Kimberly Herbert found out she had lupus, cutaneous lupus, alopecia, Raynaud's, and candida. Kimberly refused to give up and did her own research to find a way to reverse her diseases. After a few months, she found a whole food plant diet and transitioned fully to it. As a result of this change, Kimberly saw significant improvements in her health.

At first, Carl Zingle was very active as a young adult. But as he got older, he became less active and gained weight. He weighed 245 pounds at his heaviest. After being diagnosed with diabetes, Carl decided to make a change. He started cycling and eating healthy, and eventually got to the point where he reversed his diabetes and lost all his extra weight. Now Carl feels great and exercises every day!
