On this episode of “The Language of Love,” I sit down with Dr. Laurie Mintz. Dr. Laurie is a sex therapist and a professor who has written two amazing books about sexual pleasure: “A Tired Woman’s Guide to Passionate Sex” and “Becoming Cliterate: Why Orgasm Equality Matters and How to Get It.”

I was thrilled to sit down with Dr. Laurie because we have a lot in common: Like me, she originally was going to school for psychology, but when she became her studies, she realized that there was a huge lack of focus on sexual pleasure. Also like me, she grew up in a house where sexuality was not a shameful topic or something to be afraid of, and so she was innately comfortable tackling these topics with her clients and being a trailblazer in what was then a very new field.
