We meet Steve Bush, a man in his 50s who had been extremely overweight or obese for the majority of his life - peaking at over 30 stone (420lbs/190kgs).
3 years ago Steve had gastric surgery & in that time he has lost A LOT of weight AND maintained that loss.
He has also totally changed his lifestyle - which many patients fail to do. We discuss his life before & after the surgery, how his role at work helped him to manage the change & now how he helps others considering the same intervention.
This is open & honest conversation addressing the stigma around weight loss surgery & why unfortunately it fails in the mid to long term for most people.
