Being on the freaking diet rollercoaster is a big trap that many of us get stuck in. But I also want to talk about the other traps that grab us, how they connect to each other, how to recognize when you’re in a trap and dig yourself out if you find yourself caught.
That’s why Lindsey Mango is here for this episode. She’s a life and business coach who focuses on helping women create lives that blow their own minds. And that encompasses not just business, but also health, romance, and purpose. Lindsey is the perfect guest to help me open this conversation around how easy it is for us to fall into the traps society sets up for us.
The message Lindsey received from society was like so many of ours: go to college, get good grades, and you’ll automatically be successful. But hello, her journey wasn’t that linear. She found herself feeling aimless after college, trying several different career paths she wasn’t in love with because she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do with her life.
Which is my whole point: why are we not taught to ask ourselves what we want? I have the same backstory as Lindsey, years spent bouncing around from career to career with no clear direction or plan or idea what we want…
But if you want to lose weight for the last time, it requires a plan and following through – which is something I teach in a really fun way in Yummy Mummy. But how do we do that in a way that fits us and our lifestyle when we haven’t been taught how to ask ourselves what we even want?
Lindsey and I dive into all this and more. Check out this episode for:
