On March 19, 2022, Hafþór Björnsson, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man met Eddie Hall, the 2012 World’s Strongest Man in a boxing exhibition streamed for free around the world. (Spoiler: Hafþór won by unanimous decision.) Both men state that they have retired from WSM competition, but do their actions still have an effect on the popularity of the sport?
