This week I'm reminiscing with some high school friends who are also 60 this year, in 2023. When I started thinking about all the fun ways I wanted to celebrate turning 60, and I couldn't stop thinking about how much fun it would be to have a conversation like this with old friends with shared experiences.

This week we're talking about grief and creating a registered charity in midlife. My guests are Justine Silver and Eileen Jadd, founders of Good Grief: Bereavement Healing Services in Toronto, ON Canada.
Justine and Eileen are sisters who were both looking for a way to make an impact and give back in some meaningful way when they were in their 40s. When Justine's husband passed away unexpectedly at only 44 years old, they became extremely aware of how difficult it was to navigate the system for help when grieving. Together, they decided to do something to improve the situation and created a registered charity that promotes health for grieving adults by providing referrals to essential healing support services, including healthcare professionals, educational programming, and community resources.

This week we're talking about creating your passion-filled future with Dr. Jessie Mahoney.
In midlife, it's not that uncommon to feel a vague, nagging sense that something's off or just doesn't feel right. And sometimes, this has to do with your career. Unlike other times in your life, it's also not uncommon to struggle with fixing the problem, even though you may have been pretty good at this kind of problem-solving in the past.
