How often do you take the time to slow down and really take in the beauty of everything around you? The beauty of a flower, a moment, a smile, a laugh, a feeling of love, the food on your plate, the water flowing through a creek. There is beauty everywhere all the time, it's only of matter of whether we choose to consciously take it in and appreciate it for the unique expression into the Universe that it is.
On this Divine Feminine solo episode I offer insight into what it means to see the beauty in everything from nature, animals, people, community, emotions, experiences, cycles of life, the list is endless. I also share some tips on how to make a practice of beauty awareness to open yourself to a greater connection with the Divine around you and to begin seeing the beauty, light, and love in every being and everything that surrounds you.

Ok, hear me out here. I'm not making accusations, I just wanted to share some thoughts that came to me about being stuck in one dead end, dramatic relationship after the other. Intensity, passion, deceit, manipulation, confusion, ups & downs, on & on. I thought to record this episode when in a moment of nostalgia over an ex I realized that it's impossible to have an unhealthy or "toxic" relationship where only one person is the toxic person at fault. Why? Because an emotionally healthy person would never stay in an toxic relationship. Period. Leading to the realization that it takes TWO to TOXIC.
On this Identify and Heal solo episode I further explain this concept of why entertaining situations or connections that are anything less than loving, honest, open, and healthy means being in a toxic relationship with yourself. Yes, I said it. And it's a hard reality to face yet we only tolerate from others what we would tolerate doing to ourselves. I share my personal experience in needing to break out of the cycle of tumultuous, insecure connections and recognizing my own part in it. I also offer some guidance & insight into why we fall into these cycles and how to break out for good.

Hello My Beloved Listeners,
I'm so sorry that it has been so long since I have been able to speak to you directly. Since embarking on my solo European Tour in June I have had almost zero down time so my ambitions to record lots of solo episodes just fell through the cracks. I'm back now though! I'll still be on the go so additional new episodes might be sparse, I just wanted you all to know that I love you and haven't forgotten about you. I've decided to just keep releasing older episodes from the archives because there are a LOT of gems in there that I know many of you haven't listened to so I figured, why not!?
For this spectacular NEW episode I'm bringing you all up to speed on my wild and crazy adventures abroad AND celebrating the 5 year mark since The Women Waken podcast debuted in August of 2021. So please enjoy and please reach out if you'd like to share any of your own adventures or have questions about mine <3

After doing a few episodes on tips to increase your chances of getting into a healthy romantic connection, I thought I'd take the next step. Once you're dating someone, how do you monitor your own defensive tendencies that crop up once we get into the early stages of relationships?
On this identify and Heal episode, I offer a few key steps you can take to identify, address, and prevent the tendencies that get us into trouble. For some it could be coming on too strong, getting jealous, stonewalling, avoiding, the list goes on. Anything that we've developed as a defensive mechanism/trauma response to push people away or attempt to cling on to them. When you notice these, it's important to pause and check ourselves. Responses can often be addressed through communication with a partner as many of our tendencies come from assumptions and reflexive reactions to other people's behaviors that we tell ourselves a story about. So before you go down that path of falling back into old habits, hopefully you can listen to this episode and get the assist!

A few weeks back I did a solo episode on how to identify when trauma is picking your partner in regards to dating. I'm back this week for my Identify and Heal Solo Episode with a follow up to Trauma Picking Your Partner. In this episode, I elaborate further on how to begin coming from your higher, loving, Divine Feminine self when you're making choices in dating and relationships. I break down several steps on how to make this shift and how to identify what it feels like to come from a place of love, security, and knowing your worth versus a place of fear, lack, and unworthiness.
These steps will help you to finally end the cycle of unfulfilling & disappointing situationships to begin down the path towards your True Divine Partnership. Codependent and crying no more! It's time to step into your Divine Feminine power and stop settling for anything less than being treated like the remarkable, gorgeous Goddess you are.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." -Anais Nin
You are your own greatest source of Wisdom. This is the message being shared in this Divine Feminine solo episode on trusting & following your truth & intuition. It can be scary to listen to the little voice inside, nudging you towards your destiny. Or to follow your passion and inspirations even when others tell you that they're silly, ridiculous, or impossible. Nothing is impossible in our infinite Universe, therefore anything you dream up can be done. You just have to trust what you know and feel to be true, act on it, and allow it to come forth into the World.
On this Divine Feminine solo episode I share what I mean by following your intuition and trusting your truth and offer some ways to connect with your truth, honor it, and discover the magic hidden within it.

Have you always dreamed of meeting your True Love, Soul Mate, Divine Life Partner? Someone who really sees you, gets you, appreciates and loves you just as you are? Ya. Me too. So with my focus and intention set on finding such perfectly aligned love, why do I keep ending up in unfulfilling, disappointing, and ego crushing situationships time and again? If this is a conversation you've had with yourself, this episode might help to shed some light on why we tend to gravitate towards and seek out relationships and romantic connections with people who will only hurt, use, and potentially manipulate us. It's all based on who is in the drivers seat; is it your soul or your trauma?
On this solo episode I offer some psychoeducation around the influence that our emotional wounding (trauma) has on how and why we pursue certain romantic connections. I then offer a few tips on how you can begin to observe when this tendency comes up, check in with yourself before acting on it, and begin to focus more on your higher self (Soul) needs to heal trauma and align with an actual viable partnership.

What does a fulfilling life mean to you? It's an important question for anyone to ask themselves because it can help to influence your decisions, focus, and dedication to bring you closer to what you truly want and decide how you spend your time. My guest this week, Jason Robinson, reached a point in his life where he knew he wanted more; travel, adventure, and freedom. So he went for it. And then received some shocking news that changed his whole World again. Yet he had learned to roll with the changes. A previous guest encouraged me to Follow Jason on Instagram and have him on the show because she said we had some things in common and, indeed, we do. I loved talking to a follow nomad and hearing his wisdom around embracing life and his unique circumstances in a loving and accepting way to the best of his ability.
On this guest episode Jason and I bond over our Nomadic lifestyles and love for novel experiences in life as well as a desire to be able to actually enjoy the lives we have. Jason shares about hitting a burnout wall a couple years ago; the moment, the action he took after 6-18 months of MVP (Minimum viable product = least amount of work to pay the bills instead of hustling all the time on side hustles + work), and learning how to play again or to simply sit in silence and be. (That last part is hard!) Part of Jason's story is also his Type 1 Diabetes diagnoses that he received just a year after becoming nomadic. He offers insight into taking intentional time to grieve when he was diagnosed and his realization that living in time scarcity isn’t really the way to be for someone who is committed to living to the fullest.
BIO:
As a working class kid from Ohio, Jason didn't realize that moving away from his home state was an option until he was in his 20s, but as he got older, he realized that unless he wanted to end up a cranky old man with twisted, second-hand perceptions of the world, he figured he better start learning to travel... solo! As a result, Jason adopted an “experiment mindset” to tackle the unknowns of travel and how to make a living while on the road. He eventually transitioned to being a location independent nomad, earning his income by being a freelance designer and writer. Then, less than a year after selling it all to travel and work remote, during the Covid pandemic, Jason was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He remains dedicated to motivating and inspiring others to push their comfort zones, but now he includes how to navigate living nomadically while managing a major medical condition.
After hitting a major burnout wall a couple of years ago, these days Jason has really been concentrating on taking life slower, focusing more on the present, and trying to find balance with all of the directions life can pull us in.

Hello Dear Listeners! I've now done 2 episodes on Trauma Vs Love picking your romantic partnerships while dating. I'm back at it with today's Identify and Heal solo episode to add a few more steps to the process. Once we've identified what it means to have trauma running the show/picking our potential partners, we can now decide to choose differently. I've explained what it looks and feels like to shift from Fear/Trauma to Love/Security when pursing romance. On this episode, I offer the steps to take to identify your initial Gatekeeper when entertaining a potential mate, and then 4 additional gates to consider. I emphasis the importance of checking in with your self and NOT compromising or making excuses when you know darn well that something is off or your worth and value is being compromised. Establishing a main gatekeeper and sequential gates can help you to avoid getting sucked in to a toxic, codependent, and unhealthy relationship that does not serve your highest good and takes you out of your Divine Feminine nature.

* Hello Dear Listeners! People seem to like the dating episodes from the archives so here's another one. As I'm on the move abroad and not able to record, I've decided to republish most of my catalogue as I know many listeners haven't gone back to older episodes. Hope you enjoy!*
The old adage is true; breaking up is hard to do. There is nothing quite like the ending of a romantic relationship to truly feel like you've been punched in the stomach, had your heart stepped on, and like an angry swarm of bees have been placed in your head with swirling thoughts of what went wrong. Of course all endings are different yet, a lot of the time, break-ups result in a fairly strong emotional upheaval. ESPECIALLY if a sense of rejection was involved. However, there is good news. These treacherous experiences that leave you unable to eat, sleep, or think about anything else can act as a major catalyst for you personal and spiritual growth. Don't believe me? Check out this episode.
On this solo Identify and Heal episode I share my professional and personal views on rejection & break ups; why they affect us so strongly, how they can benefit us and enable powerful transformation, and of course I throw in some tips on how to actually get through them because, it can be brutal. So be ready to take notes and get some tissue if you're going through one right now, tears are cathartic and fantastic for you!
