Do you feel stuck in patterns that keep you from “leveling up” in your life?
My guest today is the fabulous Penny Kukla. Penny is a practicing pediatrician and a former client of mine.
You'll hear how Penny changed her beliefs about herself from "I don't fit in anywhere" to "I am an amazing mom." We also talk about how you don’t need to put pressure on yourself to find the perfect coach, and how coaching can lead to results you didn't expect when you signed up.
I hope that hearing Penny talk about how she became her favorite version of herself will inspire you on your journey to becoming your favorite you.

When was the last time you were disappointed by someone's behavior? Was the behavior one they've repeated over and over again, that you really shouldn't be surprised by at this point?
In this episode, I'll offer the perspective that you weren't disappointed in them. You were disappointed in yourself.
That person has shown you who they are, and they are probably never going to change. Why do you keep believing that they will?
You have the power to change the situation once you understand that you can’t change them. We'll look at several examples of how you can set boundaries for yourself so you can stop the cycle of being disappointed.

Do you feel like you’re always moving fast and making snap decisions? It’s a lot of pressure to be available to your friends, family, and work colleagues at all times, ready to answer that text, call or email at a moment's notice.
We need to remember that it’s okay to take a pause.
The power of the pause is so important to becoming Your Favorite You. Taking your time to consider things will ensure you’re doing what you actually want - now and in the long run.
In this episode, I’ll walk you through examples of how you can pause in the moment and you ask yourself “How would my favorite version of me handle this current situation?”

Are you still unsure whether or not working with a coach is the right path? It might be time to work on changing your beliefs about what you deserve and what's possible for you.
If you’ve been listening to this podcast for some time, I hope you’ve been able to benefit from what I share without having to work with a coach. However, I want you to feel safe to book a consult with me or to work with me or any coach when you decide you’re ready. That’s why I have come up with 3 beliefs that I think you might need to work on in order to sign up for coaching.
In this episode, I’ll help you understand that you have the power to change your beliefs. You'll see that the process isn't easy, but that it's worth it for the opportunity to live a life of purpose, fulfillment, and joy.

Last week, we talked about the difference between accepting yourself for who you are and tolerating a life you don't love. This week, I’m back to talk about specific ways you can practice acceptance.
We’ll look at several methods to help you practice, such as reframing your negative thoughts and recognizing impermanence. No matter where you are on your journey of self-acceptance, I hope you can use these methods to gain the confidence to be exactly you.
When you can accept yourself, you can become Your Favorite You who is living the life that you want.

How can we shift from tolerating a life we don't love to embracing acceptance and making the changes we might be afraid to make?
When I talk about tolerance, I’m referring to enduring circumstances or situations that don't align with our desires and values. Even if you accept those circumstances, you do not have to tolerate them.
In this episode, we’ll talk about the steps you can take to stop tolerating less than you deserve and accept yourself and your reality without judgment or resistance.
Accepting yourself as you are is an important step toward living the life you want.

I’m so grateful to have my former client Kate Mowery as a guest today to share how her coaching experience has impacted her life.
Before coaching, Kate was dealing with too much stress from saying “Yes” to everything at work and not having any patience left for her family by the time she got home. Kate knew she needed to take better care of herself, so she made the decision to start coaching.
Now, Kate’s favorite Kate says “No” when she doesn't want to do something, has her own woodworking business with her husband, prioritizes spending time with her family, and is an amazing mom.
I hope that hearing about Kate’s coaching journey in this episode will inspire you on your own path to becoming Your Favorite You.

Could coaching be the missing link to help you love your life?
Maybe you need to have more compassion for yourself or need to trust yourself more. Women get help with so many aspects of their life when they work with a general life coach, like me.
I want to share the magic of coaching with all of you, so I’ve gathered some coaching takeaways from women I have worked with. I hope that as you listen to this episode and hear about the positive impact coaching has, it will help you determine if coaching is the right step in becoming Your Favorite You.

When you look back on your life, do you regret more of the things you did do or the things you didn’t?
Today, my amazing guest Sarah Wittry talks with me about regret from her very interesting perspective. Sarah is both a physician who works in palliative care and hospice medicine and a life coach. Being honest with people at the end of their lives as well as helping humans live a life with as little regret as possible has given her the wisdom she shares with us in this episode.
We’ll talk about the steps you can take to have fewer regrets in life and how to live according to the way you want to be remembered.

Your self-worth isn't tied to anything but being exactly you. It shouldn't depend on your achievements, career, family, relationship status, or bank account, but sometimes it’s difficult to see past that. Do external things like these have an impact on your self-worth?
In my coaching practice, I have helped women untether themselves from these old, well-worn pathways that they don’t have to walk anymore. In this episode of the podcast, I’ll help you understand how you can do that too.
Whatever you tie your self-worth to, know that the knot can be undone. And once it is, you are one step closer to becoming Your Favorite You.
