Summary
In this episode, I share my experience crewing and pacing at the Badwater 135, known as the world's toughest foot race. I discusse the difficulty of getting into the race and the importance of building a running resume. I talk about the challenges of the race, including the extreme heat and the high drop-out rate of runners. Also, I talks about the roles of the crew members and the importance of keeping the runner cool and well-nourished. Despite the obstacles, the runner I was crewing, Amy Adams, successfully completed the race. And redeemed herself from the year prior! I then reflect on my experience crewing and pacing at the Badwater 135. She discusses the challenges the crew faced, including nutrition issues and the extreme heat. I end the podcast answering some questions asked by the tribe!
