However, when we use tools like this to pick out one single thought or emotion at any given time, it can get a little messy and sometimes isn't actually useful. This is what I'm diving into today.

I'm sharing my thoughts on what you might miss out on when you prioritize this over exploration, and examples from my own life of where this practice can be valuable.
