**What was an unexpected joy this past year? 回顾过去的一年，什么是你没有意料到的喜悦收获？

This year I had a couple of unexpected joys, both in my professional and personal life. I had two main ones to me, actually three main ones. Firstly, about the professional life, the fact of being in such a situation forced me to really, really think very hard on what I needed to do in my life and what I wanted to do. So this unexpected joy was the fact of being on my own with myself and having to be proactive, really proactive. And this joy is a personal satisfaction, I would say in my personal life. So just so you know me a little bit more, I did a degree in music three, four years ago actually. So I graduated in 2020. And during this degree, one thing I did actually I basically did not take care of my personal relations at home. As a consequence, when I finished my studies, I came back at home with no more friends. So this was a very, very tough period. And I live in a small town. Everyone knows each other since we are children. So it's very difficult to come as a new person in a group of people that already know each other for such a long time. Just before I hit the road,I met incredible people who I'm still in touch with. Homesick. X! (Are you Okay?) X! Sorry.(Aw.) We’ll be fine. We'll be fine. I didn't plan anything like this. (Aw..But thank you, that’s an unexpected moment of the podcast) Yeah, yeah! (You lose you gain.) Yeah, yeah, just a tough way!…So the unexpected joy… I made some incredible friends and made incredible connections just before I left. And I started to see things building up correctly for the first time in a very long time. And I met an incredible girl in Columbia too, who I hope to spend a lot of time with as well. And these were, to me, three unexpected joys this year. 

今年我在我的专业领域和私人生活都有一些没有意料到的喜悦收获。有两个比较重要的，事实上有三个。第一个关于我的工作，因为我遇到了丢掉工作的这个状况（详情听上一集），强迫我必须认真思考我到底想要从我的人生得到什么还有我想要做什么，这个没有预料的喜悦就是让我可以和我自己好好地相处，和必须非常积极的重建我的生活，这个喜悦也是一种个人的满足感。再说到第二个喜悦之前，再让你们多了解我一点，四年前，我去学校学习音乐的专业，然后我在2020年的时候毕业了，但是在我求学的时候，我完全没有在意我在老家的人际关系，这个后果就是，当我完成我的学业，我回家后就完全没有朋友，那是一段非常艰难的时光，我住在小镇里，大家从孩童都认识彼此，所以很难去进入一个已经大家都彼此认识多年的团体，但在我开始上路前，我遇到了我现在还保持联系的一群很棒的朋友...（哽咽）讲到这就让我有点想家，不好意思。没事，没事。我也没有预料会这样。(谢谢，这也是录制播客没有预料到的，失去了还会得到。）是啊，就是用了一种很难的方式。所以这个没有预料到的喜悦就是，在我离开家之前，我交到了一群很棒的朋友，而且是自好久以来，第一次看到事情走向一个正确的方向在前进。还有我在哥伦比亚认识了我想要与之相交很久的一个很棒的女孩。这就是三个我没有预料到的收获喜悦。

I have always wanted to be able to speak Spanish since I visited Guatemala six years ago. I had tried studying online, and lived in Spain for several years. However, I was progressing really slowly. Two months ago I came to Guatemala to study with private tutors and now I’m able to express myself more fluently and I feel proud of myself. 自从六年前我拜访了危地马拉之后，我一直希望可以说西语。我试过在网上学习，还有住在西班牙好几年。然而，我进步地非常的缓慢。两个月前我来到了危地马拉然后和私教一起学习，现在我可以更流利的表达自己，我为自己感到骄傲。
