Is it okay to ask them to pay for dates? Well, you know, every culture is a little bit different, and even within Western cultures, people have very different opinions of that. Generally speaking, it's commonly accepted, at least in the United States where I live, that the man typically takes the lead on that and asks the woman out and therefore pays for the date. Now, there's an ever-growing trend with more and more women that want to contribute and pay for half the date, but I'm kind of an old-school person. I always, you know, unless they absolutely insist, and even then, I still pretty much prefer that I just pay for the date.

我想不会有人不喜欢会为女生买单的女权主义者。我记得和Omar初次约会的时候，一整天他买单了两次，第三次我就坚持买单了！后面他都会坚持要买单，除非是我找他出去吃饭，或者感谢他给我的帮忙，当然我也会主动说要给他煮饭，我当然不会计较买菜的钱！
