In this episode I sat down with Jonah from the Blindian Project earlier today to talk through the Indian Expectation on interracial relationships. We talk about the stereotypes and taboos attached to marrying someone outside your race, caste or community. We also talk about anti blackness, the negative effects of colourism, the awful phrase ‘BMW’ and how we can start to normalise interracial relationships. Jonah is one nicest people I’ve met- he’s recorded this podcast with me several times because of issues at my end and I am so grateful and happy that he was able to share all the incredible work he’s doing with the Blindian Project. Be sure to comment your favourite part and don't forget to like and subscribe! You can also pre order his book “When We See Ourselves” that’s going to be released at the end of March!
